you sir, have just won the internets for today, all of them, if you buy the multiplayer pass for $5 extra and the cheatcodes for $0.99 each and the rest of the game for $20 per each 8 hours added.
8 hours what? I'm pretty sure it's longer than SR2, in which I spent 60 hours and didn't finish everything.
main campaign that is.

Oh and may I ask, when you start insurance fraud do you still have to drive to the "area" of the activity? (Remember starting that activity and never going to that "zone" just to get me ragdollised with one button click Running into stop signs and random people with a coop partner was a blast!!!)
Personally, I want to try out that fucking V-TOL jet. Holy shit is that badass. And the "out of an '80s arcade game" tank thing I saw a screenshot of on RPS.
But I can be patient for the crack. Skyrim will take care of me for at least another 200 hours.

Well, like that, Skyrim is 2 hours long (or how long was that playthrough...). You don't play Saints Row just for the main campaign.
are you serious? it's way longer than that, no clue exactly how long only main quest time is, but.... i've spent more than two hours on a single part of the main quest at least twice in this game so far.
it's probably realistically around 20 and probably in the mid to upper hundreds if you do like 75% of not forced stuff.
and even still, the padding in this game is just as good as the main quest, the procedurally generated quests are boring and not worth doing but the side quests are easily as good as the main stuff, in saints row the third the side stuff is all going to be grinding "challenges" just because you want to force more playtime out of it, or because you're a few style(?) short of your next upgrade, definitely nothing worth experiencing more than a few times if even more than once.
Just under four hours in and 20% complete (Fairly certain that tracks the main story only.), it advanced pretty fast initially but then the missions got a bit bigger and more involving.
As soon as I cave in and buy this fucking thing, a crack will be out 5 minutes later, mark my words. Then I'll end up having to leech it anyway to get access to the tens of DLC pakcs down the line, rendering my purchase all but useless - sigh.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Well, if the game is actually good you'd be supporting the devs to create more games like it
