 | I just... don't get it.
Why do you need to stuff your ass when playing?
I don't need videogames for that, in fact I always separate the two activities.
Oh well, must be an american thing...

ive got the same problem and the further i get in the game the more frequent the crashes, ive played 32 hours now and its crashing ever 30 minutes, when i started playing it was only crashing every few hours. |
Have you tried enabling Large Address Awareness to TESV.exe? I had constant CTD's without warning and enabled the "old fix" from Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas to Skyrim. Haven't had a single CTD since, tested this by playing 3 hours straight.
You can download a software which makes the job easier from here: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=202

I just came out of a temple and a dragon fell from the sky and face planted in front of me.
What the fuck?

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Well that particular link above for the "fix" is really just a workaround...use windowed mode when going through that cave. And yes, it took a while for it to load for me too.

I have to say, I don't like the dwarven ruins, at all. They take a while to get through, and they pretty much never have any worthwile loot. Hell, most of the time they don't have any loot at all, apart from a couple of chests along the way.

I am blissfully in love with this game. I just finished a wicked trek through an old ruin, on the Ancestral Shield quest, which was not only poignant and bitter sweet... but also yielded some great loot. I finally get back outside and what happens? A Blood Dragon swoops down and lands at my feet, blasting huge gouts of flame at me.

Seen it happen lots of times with my 4890 under win7 or winXP.
My default refresh rate is 75Hz and after the install it would only list 59Hz as supported for that resolution.
ivan1real wrote: | Any improvements with 11.11? I hate installing new drivers, fucking ati. | Well you can now use CCC's AA instead of the (supposedly) buggy AA from Skyrim.
