Seemingly the Skiddy crack will work with the Theta release but only if you have the full 400mb crack not the small one doing the rounds. I tried the small one and it just made the game crash so I'm grabbing the whole thing.

There's problem with Skidrow release. There is only one additional DLC case - "A slip of the tongue".
In Theta's release there's available all DLC's froom the begining.
So I think we'll need a Crackfix...

Confirmed. Only one DLC case is available. They definitely missed some files in their release.
dlc.dlc2.big.pc ... dlc.dlc9.big.pc

The (legit) Steam release had the dlcs missing for the first few days. They were added later with a patch (around 1.5GB I believe)
I guess Skidrow didn't notice the update.

So if I use skiddys full crack on the theta release that has the the 1.5gb DLC file will I get the rest of the DLC? The game runs so well using the skidrow crack that I can't go back to using THETAs.

I applied the skidrows crack on theta's and it works.. it actually really does runs better using skidrows', but the dlc from theta are gone too.. I already finished the game with all the dlc, but still, only 1 dlc is listed on the cases now

Guess if we add dlc.dlc2.big.pc ... dlc.dlc9.big.pc files for SKIDROW it won't need new crack. Maybe 3dm steam version has them.Will have to check somehow.
Edit: Noticed that there is one big DLC file in THETA release 1.43 GB. Probably this is missing dlc's. If somehow this can be unpacked maybe it will work.

Yeah, works loads better and without needing to add command line stuff. I can live without the DLC cases for now.

From what i understood THETA (retail) uses one big DLC.file for all dlc's and steam version uses multiple files dlc.dlc1.big.pc ... dlc.dlc9.big.pc for all dlc's. And it seems SKIDROW included only dlc.dlc1.big.pc. We need landlc.ncf

Nope, I think it needs a new .exe file to recognise the new DLC file.

I presume it loads better because of unpacked dlc stuff or its absence, but does it add any fps at all, or reduce lags? I heard many people were complaining about lag but many of them solved it with different GFX drivers. Can't decide if need to wait for a proper release.

Nope, I would guess it works better because they actually stripped the protection. It adds FPS for me and I had the command line options in as well before this release so by extension the lag is reduced. It will never go beyond 30fps though as that is what the game is capped at. Also, the skiddy version is FRAPS compatible.

It does if you get the full 400mb crack and not the 50mb one.

Does steam update (1.5GB) for all the dlc's changes exe's also? Cuz it its only dlc content guess it should work with skidrow exe's
