I like ABload as long as the images don't follow in a sequence, if they do ABload always randomizes the upload order so it's kinda tedious to sort it out, for scenic images and more random screens it's great. Smile
(Not always compatible with these forums however.)

Above is using this also to help the visuals a bit.

OTHER: which of these FXAA packs provide AA and sharpen, but none of this saturation BS? My game is already too dark in some places, now it's barely playable if it's snowing at night.

Thanks KeyserSoeze & Sabin for that FXAA stuff, it works great here. No performance issues.

Anyone has "problems" with clearing Fort Neugrad ? Dont have any quests there, i just found it while wandering around, but i cant get >cleared< note next to it on the map. Cleared main building and prison.

Aye, I've encountered several areas that don't change to "Cleared" after clearing them. I presume there's a reason for that... perhaps an important quest further in the game or something. Oh and you're welcome, but really it's Keyser who sussed it for us =)

My warrior'ish character is at lvl30 and I feel like I've seen everything. I'm wearing full enchanted Daedric gear and I wiki'd out some stuff and I've apparently already encountered every enemy type in the game. There's not enough character progression to cover even a quarter of the world. It becomes boring when there's nothing worthwhile left to achieve and the story isn't anywhere near interesting enough to motivate me to play through.

i was assured there would be no karma system in this game... why do guards keep saying shit like 'keep your hands to yourself' and calling me a sneak thief n shit

i have never been busted breaking into anywhere or stealing shit, so wtf Sad these people should admire me for the hero they believe me to be! not vilify me for the murdering thief that i am...

I think alot of that depends on your race and such. The first guard I ran into as a Khajit (which I am guessing you are playing due to your love of the kitty) gave me that look. Think of us as Hobbits in the LOTR series..we're notorious thieving bastards Smile

I think it's related to your skill level.

If I remember correctly. as soon as my stealth went >50 the guards started saying that, same with archery, "You prefer a bow? I'm more of a swords man bla bla..."

im a nord male. im the most trustworthy person in the game! (the fools)

and yeah i get that 'you prefer the bow' thing too, but come on.. how does it make sense that the MORE stealthy you are, the more OBVIOUS it is to guards that your a thief... bethesda got that all ass-backwards!!

i noticed that too. i havnt even stolen anything in my (current) game and they still call me a sneakthief. i think it has more to do with your highest skills. in morrowind people knew what class you were and would refer to you by it at times. i sneak around backstabbing bandits with daggers so my sneaking and one handed are higher than anything else...im pretty sure that is why they call me sneakthief. the first time it happened i was outraged just like you and thought 'maybe i stole something by accident'...my stats say i havnt though. hes lucky i didnt haul off and kill him for acting in such a disgraceful manner.

on that note, i found some imperial justicars with a stormcloak prisoner. i killed them all and sent the prisoner off with their gear, a few sammiches and a pat on the bum. since all witnesses aside from the prisoner were killed, will this catch up to me later if i have to deal with the imperials?

yeah but those games had a karma system so i just kinda accepted it. i thought this game didnt have one, which is why im really pretty disappointed about this. why-oh-why cant they do sneaking and thievery RIGHT in a game... its my favourite thing about these games... the thrill of a successful lift.. yet i still get called out for it by random people? boooo!

So the guy over at http://deadendthrills.com posted a bit of info on how he gets those amazing screenshots. He makes Skyrim look insanely good.

Unfortunately, the game is pretty much unplayable at those settings, even on his GTX 580 / Intel 980X system.

He does suggest that some mods might eventually make it more playable while still retaining most of this visual quality. I don't know if that's wishful thinking or not, but if you haven't seen his screenshots, do yourself a favor and check them out (be patient, the site is slow / doesn't load sometimes)

Edit: I know the tweaks aren't anything that interesting / new, but the shots are pretty mouth watering.
