If you can't set up a controller, which REALLY is as easy as clicking a button and then pressing the corresponding button on your 360 controller, then I'm not sure how far you're going to get in emulation.
Load Dolphin.
Click "Wiimote"
Look on the page that comes up for "Extension" and choose "Classic"
Hit "Configure"
Click each button on this page and then press the appropriate button on the 360 to assign it, ie;
click "A" and then press "B" on the 360 controller. You do that because Nintendo's classic is using the B,A and Y,X layout rather than the A,B and X,Y on the 360.
Assign them according to this diagram;

If you STILL can't get it to work.. try my config files. Extract and drop these .inis into your Dolphin\User\Config folder.

It's really good so far, inspired art-style + flawless controls and great level design
@Leo: yeah, videos are indeed quite blocky..but at least everything is perfect in-game

wow guys , just found out that dolphin emu !!
But is it possible to get it working right from the start without a wii controller and that IR thingy.
I've got a wireless reciever + 360 controller for the pc.
Or is it neccesary to setup the whole thing via these Wii remotes ?

i cant imagine the experience be any worse on dolphin than on PS3, looks like all the sprites and all the other art are still in the same resolition , just the wii renders it at a lower resolution output which dolphin bypasses.
