I mean I guess if you think about it, pizza could be..healthy..

bread(grains) + cheese(dairy) + meat(proteins) + uh...tomato..sauce... could be healthy if it was actually fresh and not all this pre processed garbage the US shoves into everything.

It can be healthy if made right but I consider it more of a 'balanced meal' or healthy choice provided it isn't pigged out on.

But yea, Bread, make it a higher fiber whole grain bread. Tomato paste. And add lots of veggies. Spinach, mushrooms, greenpeppers, tomatoes.

The trick would be to keep the fat out. Not adding oil or loading it with cheese and processed meats.

I don't think they could mass produce a cost effective healthy pizza.

Sure they could, if there was an existing infrastructure and demand for it, just like there is for fast food.

In itself intake of olive oil and certain fats from cheese (olive oil is better though) are not that bad, it is the amount of food you stuff up your face that counts.

So, if I smear my chair in tomato sauce, will it be considered being a vegetable afterwards? Philosopheraptor

True. MacDonalds has tried a few healthy things. They are always overpriced and they never stay around long. Not enough demand for it I think.
