But my game booted and never said anything about an update AFTER I cleared the cache. Is that correct? |

You never see if the update is "applied" if that's what you mean.
For some it easy to see (Skyrim, version number), others you dont see anything.
But it usually IS applied.

Best way to check if update is applied (with usb TU metod) is to plug off usb stick when "updated" game is running.
it will crash if update was working from stick.
worse thing is.... not every game have title updates... what then?

Oh I see... usually a game will open a prompt and be like "THERES AN UPDATE FOR THIS, WOULD YOU LIKE IT?!"
So it doesn't do that if the update is from USB stick?

it does do that if there is NEWER update on xbl than there is on the stick.
No prompt otherwise

This means that proboably You have title updates downloaded for MW3 and not for those other games. If there are no updates for game then It wont work until they release one

AC:R is region free and NFS is PAL and thats it no other versions of TU´s.

No. Abgx doesnt recognize xgd3 discs. only way I know of to read mediaId is by iso2god but It cant read discs

right this has been going on in my head all day i thought lets see if im flagged so i cleared system cache and yes i was mw3 wouldn't run or skyrim or saints row but they were working fine is it because i had the tittle updates for them games?. mw3 was working fine as i had it legit
and i was flagged and i thought what it i didn't remove the cache why didn't i just try a game that i have not played ! that would've made a difference right? im just thinking me clearing the cache fucked me over.

If you are flagged with a silence update ( dae.bin) is it now possible to play the games asswell when you do those updates from xbox360 Update Center ??
How does it work then? Just format the usb stick in fat32 put the updates of a game in a folder on usb stick or how?

You were right, i noticed today that i dont have the skyrim update stored in my memory flash and i tried running the dvd through abgx but it doesnt recognize it so i ended up injecting the title updates for all 4 IDs -.-

Yes. If You are silently updated dae.bin/Flageed(not really. My z: value isnt 1918-190D So I guess Iam not flagged) and Your xgd3 games arent working anymore, there is a simple way to play them.
TU- stands for Title update, which are patches for games. usually3-6mb.
If You were using xbl, it means Your games were updated. Updates are stored in system cache on hdd(and usb). Thats why those games doesnt work after clearing the cache.
Microsoft updated dea tables but there is some kind of exploit that makes the game search for update in cache folder and apply it first, avoiding the disc check then 
Ofc now You cant download TU for games becouse they dont boot. You have to go to xbuc or digiex and download TU manualy.
1.Get usb Stick(2gb or larger) and put it into 360.. Go to memory options, select it and press "convert to storage now". Done.
2.Download software Horizon or Xtaf with which You can explore 360 files and folders on that encrypted 360 pendrive.
3 . Key is to download right update. There are several sites with updates. XBUC is my favourite. You can put a name of the game or MediaID in the search box and it is important to download right update for Your game.
Lets say You are searching for Gears of War3 TU. If You type its name in the search box, You will get like 5 files. Each the same size and number if update. These are all the same updates but for different regions of the game. You can just download all Pal patches if You are a Pal and throw them on that pendrive. Games will automaticly pick right update and newest one.
Or You can check MediaID (older iso of games with abgx and new with iso2god) and then type it in searchbox. It shows only correct updates then.
4. Copy to usb with above software- put into 360. just run the game. It wont say to apply update or anything. It will just apply silently.
Not every game have version numer to check if update is applied and working. You can usually search for menu differences or other signs of update... OR You can just plug off that usb stick while the game is running and it will crash, meaning that this game was using TU from that stick.

Eh? LT1.91 for Hitachi drives has been out for ages mate. It was LT1.9 that was for defeating AP25.

It does not dedeat anything. Ms can change it any second and you will need to reburn all the games.

How much noise should power brick do? I have jasper elite just so You know.
yesterday Ive noticed that its almost as loud as xbox itself after playing some skyrim. Today morning it was quiet when Ive turned 360 just to check this out
