He must have some serious skill in alchemy too, this recipe give my "only" a value of 400.
I just passed 50, BUT I made a full set of alchemy gear (hands, head, ring & neck) that boosts it like crazy. Enchanting is right up there with smithing on the top tier of skills.
But yeah the value of course depends on the effective skill level you currently have; but this potion is very easy mat-wise, so it's good even at level 1. No idea why the hell Bethesda made it so, but the skill-ups with Alchemy are dependant on the value of the potion created (whereas it doesn't matter what you do to level-up enchanting & smithing, it's all the same with those); no biggie if you mix beneficial and detrimentary effects, as long as it increases the value it's all good.
@tonizito:
That's easily broken still, can't wait to see what I can make with 100 alchemy and perfect alchemy boosting gear. Potions worth 10k would be nice.
Edit: Skilled up some and it's already worth 1800, nice.

I wonder how many players are gettin thru this cheating - sorry 'training'?
One of my youngest kid's mates was over this weekend and he was whining about some spanish cheater - sorry trainer- site. Not shit happens, one where the cheating machines -sorry trainers - are given away.
Apparently these trainers hafta hook up online when they are started otherwise they don't launch. His bitch was that this spanish skyrim trainer server was so overloaded on Saturday he couldn't launch the thing to play his game.
Some of these kids have no clue. When I asked him why he thought a 'free' cheater/trainer thing would have to be online to work, he said he hadn't thought about it. Who knows what the thing is getting up to, prolly using yer IP addy as a spam relay at the very least.
Anyway it seems that a significant number of the skyrim players are cheating their way through.
I asked him why if he really had to cheat, he didn't use the console commands instead of waiting for a server that may be broken.
His reply was a classic:
"Can't be assed with alla teh code stuff, this is cooler." Hmmm
For an old curmudgeon the good thing is that it makes a mockery of the 'achievements' bulldust. Don't get me wrong being competitive with yer mates is great but alla these poorly constructed, lame goals too many games emphasise at the expense of satisfying plots and good gameplay really give me the irrits.
One baffling thing being hard to understand is when I finish up a miscellaneous activity as to kill a giant for a person of the town management of some of the cities, I'm granted only 100 coins. But then there's another small quest consisted in taking the burden off a peasant by delivering food to some monks, which consequently rewards me with 1000 coins.

I believe it's level tied to when we receive the quest. For example, if we're level 10 when we begin it, and only decide to do it when we're level 50, the reward doesn't scale. We still receive the reward destined to the level 10 hero.
