I read it all <3 While I don't agree with everything you said, I DO agree with some things. I agree that stealing is fucking dumb right now -- but then, your much vaunted Morrowind had the EXACT same shit too. It's been my most hated part of TES since forever; psychic guards that know exactly what stolen goods you're carrying.. and vendors that won't buy stolen goods. How the fuck do they know what's stolen?

"This Steel Bracer is property of Per Smithsson, if found please return to ..." stamped on everything?

I think not. Get rid of that fucking shit as it breaks immersion.

As for others that I agree with; puzzles and traps. I love that traps are logical in this game and that there are some that are even tied to doors and chests! GOD how I love that! I love seeing that little cable and pulley system attached to the lid of a chest, meaning you have to disarm before attempting to open the chest (though disarming doesn't actually work either, it's more a case of pre-triggering the trap and then getting out of the way, as disarm doesn't stop the trap from springing. Grrr) I just wish the traps were a little bit more deadly, so as to make it worthwhile to be wary of them. I run over a fucking BEAR TRAP and what? I say "ooof" and lose 5% of my health? Puzzles too. There simply aren't enough puzzles Sad

So ignore these philistines, your epic WOT post was worth reading - and at least some of us did

open console and click on her, then type:

setrelationshiprank player 3
addtofaction 19809 1

Now talk to her. Very Happy
(note, with lydia you'll only need to type the second line since she is already your ally)

This way you can marry anyone you want. Laughing
According to the wiki Lydia is marriable by default.

EDIT: damn, ninjad'. Razz

ummm... did you break a pick trying to disarm the trap or what? cause i've yet to find any traps that go off if disarmed, might be a bug in the disarm mechanism though - lets you keep trying if you fail cause it's the lockpick minigame - i bet.

Ye it got a tad larger then I wanted it to be but I kept getting stuff spooking through my head I wanted to touch on Smile

And if you read all that it might soud like I really dislike the game.. but really I don't.. it's just that Morrowind touched me with it's magic for a very long time and I care about the IP.. I fear they want to simplefy everything for the current's console generation for example. (and no I don't blame console's for all things wrong Skyrim)

I reread my post again and there are some things in there that are nitpicky but I didn't grade my stuff on a "care a lot, less" scale.. I just poured out how I felt Smile

For that person conveniently tearing out one part of a sentence "fast travel to blame" and then saying "don't use it" .. if you read the next sentence I express I fully well heared that one before but it's not the same as the game is designed with having fast travel in mind.

If I had to summerize my post to the things that matter:

1. Bigger Land
2. Harder stealing
3. Easier trading
4. Updated Graphics on models, water and some blurry textures
5. Better AI
6. Better GUI
7. More dangerous traps and interesting puzzle design
8. More varied environments (not all snow and mountains)

Prolly forgetting stuff, but this is what I think off if I have to make it short bulletin without overthinkingthings ...

ive never been able to disarm pressure plates on the floor. maybe i need a perk for that or something? i never get a disarm option. i mean its cool because i have the perk that lets me just walk over them, but clumsy lumbering lydia following right behind always springs them and i get a spike to the face Very Happy

there is no disarm minigame, it just recycles the lockpicking one chiv, you just have to notice them, most of the floor plate type will go off an infinite amount of times too, even the swinging ones attached to floor plates reset and will go off again, only the spike balls dropping one doesn't reset that i've noticed.

Naw, I don't believe you can disarm the pressure plates. I'm referring to visible traps tied to doors/chests and tripwires. Those can be disarmed .. though, again, I use the phrase lightly as it doesn't actually prevent the trap from springing. Every time I've disarmed, correctly too - no failures, the trap (be it a mace dropping from the ceiling or spikes coming out of the wall) has sprung. Every time. The only difference is that this time I'm already moving away from it as opposed to running head first into it.

yeah but i never have an option to disarm pressure plates... the only options i have are to spring bear traps or activate tripwires (which spring the trap rather than disabling it, stupidly enough)

pressure plates/floor triggers give me nothing.

@ sabin, ok cool, then im not missing anything...

strange, maybe i'm just lucky enough that i stop as soon as the interact thing is possible without getting close enough to get hit or something.

simply isn't a second option with pressure plates, it's not even possible to disarm those.

After so many new "Kinda of a" retarded Skyrim videos, we also have a guy who kills kids, and puts stupid music and tries to be funny with some random text also.

I Am Disappoint

People need to stop being so serious tbh.

The music, however, was simply awful.

Oh, for the record my only complaint really was the music.
Couldn't care less about the virtual obnoxious kids beat down.

If you just paste the folders in, they should override the packaged files.

put the meshes folder into the data folder, start the skyrimlauncher and click on "data files" - tell him to load those files and it should work.

add this to your skyrimprefs.ini if you're not able to click on "data files"
