In XBMC, try setting your resolution to ntsc or use enigma video switcher and swicth to ntsc.
If you hate it, ignore it.

solution for me:
set the xbox to 4x3
when I have it on widescreen it doesn't work.
edit: still can't run it from XBMC but it now works with evox and unleashX

How does Enigma work? Only got an .iso file..
And in XBMC, I could only choose Auto or Pal 4:3

burn the iso on a rewritable and run it on your xbox, or extract it and ftp it to the box.
you can axtract the iso with lots a tools. qwix for example or zxbtools

How come when I use unleashx, and multimode it works?
Same thing for monkey ball?
engimah doesn't give you true NTSC or what?
Can any high tech's answer me that?

if you download GTA SA than you've downloaded an ISO... and like I said, to handle isos just use qwix or zxbtools

Yeah, uploaded it to apps with Qwix
Switched to NTSC, but then everything got black/white.. It's a pretty old TV, would that mean anything?

dude, download al 49 files, open the 001 file with winrar and extract the iso.

pal and ntsc are video norms. pal has 625 horizontal lines and refreshes them 50 times a second. actually it is just 25 full pictures since it works with an interlaced picture only drawing every second line in a go.
ntsc has 525 lines only but updates 60 times a second. again interlaced picture.
these differences come from the electricity networks in europ contra the usa. the hertz numbers, the refreshrates are based on what the electricity network on those continents output...don't ask me in detail. old european tvs are not used to 60 pictures a second and screw up.
jesus christ was a gangsta rapper. they killed him. he came back and made a platinum album.

Theres also differences in how they handle the colors, some people call NTSC = Never Twice Same Colour but this is a little offtopic.
Anyway I dont think this game will run on a Crystal box 1,6 I have compared my 2 boxes and on my 1.0 it works but not on the crystal so u people that have a crystal will have to wait I believe.

true. the video signal is a bit different. they differ in the way colors are transpondet and therefor the b/w picture. yeah i personally prefer pal for its higher resolution and better colors. although ntsc console run a tad faster (10 mhz).
