"So, bethesda has made the landmass for Morrowind. The entirety of morrowind. Solstheim is there, the mainland is there, Vvardenfell is there. It’s all there. It’s scaled down slightly however, since the scaling in Morrowind, Skyrim, And Oblivion are all obscured towards each other. But it’s still very large."

got the fright of my life in this game just now...
went to riften to sell some shit to the blacksmith as usual... its always the top dialog option to get to the store, so i hit it out of habit, but this time he says
I met a Mercenary and she said she was doing important quest.
So I said maybe I can help, she says OK, I will mark it on your map, now go there and get the job done...
BUT, I dont see anything new on my map, and she never told me where to go, also in my shity Journal for the Quests there isnt anything either...
WTF, the Journal sucks big time...

You sure your quest isn't in the Miscellaneous section of the quest journal?

Ehhhh? Just apparently completed the main quest. Wtf, not many main quests and the end was easy as fuck with my daedric legendary bow . Bit dissapointed about that, was a bit of an anticlimax , does completing the main quest affect any other quests?
There's about five upwards to ten quests on every faction I've done so far, judging by the wiki this goes for the main story as well.
(Though for the factions you can do minor quests in-between the real jobs.)

That Septim is such CGI render, especially the hair...
And the robe, compared to the in-game model, those shoulders especially.
(Funny how they made a variant of it in Skyrim too, most Jarls appear to use it.)
And yet. You were all hyped for this
6 years in a video game technology is like an ages.
We all loved the bloom and hdr in oblivion. Then hated greys in Gears of war and now we have to high contrasts and just want colors

Oh I really enjoyed Oblivion (Though I was also heavily into Gothic 3 back then.), unsure how it is now with all the advancements via modding but it probably holds up OK still.
EDIT: Speaking of advancements the community is pretty active with this.
No, just no. I would never have been hyped for the game based on THAT trailer - no. That was honestly painful to watch. I've NEVER been a fan of bloom and vaseline, I find it irritating
Just hit the invisible wall near Refugee's Rest. Then I turned off the borders and it turns out Skyrim has a lot of landmass for Morrowind. Cyrodiil and Hammerfell are also mostly there. I doubt it's a sign of future DLCs containing whole provinces but I hope it speeds up the creation of global mods.
Well, could be a sign that they're up to something big with the upcoming addons. I've read somewhere that those won't be like the Fallout3 DLCs but more like Oblvion's Shivering Isles.
All I know for sure is that Skyrim will be big in the next few months when the decent mods show up.

Ya, console hardware sure did keep up with modern technology nicely (except maybe for the memory)...!
That dozy twat will be forever known as a fucking moron for that silly statement
Well actually last 6 years have been in stasis thanks to consoles
But nevertheless. Oblivion looked great in 2005 and Skyrim looks great now so I guess I have a point which is that Elder scrolls games are always fucking amazing.
And Morrowind? it was gorgeus back in 2002 with first shadered water (except for 1999 outcast) and tragic animations

I'm actually trying to remember. It was definitely one of the two supposedly "big" developers, either Derpmack or it could even have been Derpy B
hey. Thanks to epic, xbox360 have amazing 512mb of memory instead of 256.
Imagine if it had 256mb of memory we would all be stick with ports of even worse looking games

Oblivion was one of my biggest disappointments in the last years of gaming. If not the biggest of them all. Especially as the successor to Morrowind. Horrible, horrible game..
why? it is almost the same as morrowind except leveling world (as in Skyrim)
morrowind is still best TES game offcourse but biggest dissapointment for oblivion?

fast travelled, elder dragon showed up - and i could even see a SECOND dragon in the skies in the distance behind it - it takes on some mammoths and a giant, then a bear, and then i killed it.
and looking at the video replay, i think it even incinerated a moose.
no, wait, nevermind. third look shows that it escapes.
