there's at least one (possible) quest reward mace that should be pretty badass, look around the houses in makarth.
Spoiler: | there's one abandoned house that starts a kinda spooky poltergeist type thing that turns into a quest once you enter the house, i'm guessing it should be possible to have the mace as a quest reward if you actually try to finish the quest line, but.... seeing as it was frankly a pretty immoral quest line i kind of ignored it and pretended i never found the house |

hey can you only assign certain enchantments to certain items? i dont mean TYPES, i mean certain enchantments. i know i cant put fire damage on my armor, but why cant i put an archery perk on my body armor? when it comes to enchantments that are available for my body armor, i can either choose crap, crap, crap or crap...
and ive been disenchanting a lot of shit, so its not availability thats the problem - its what the game lets me select

Are all followeres immortal ? (do they all do the kneeling down thing, never dying, like the quest-important ones ?)
Because I just recruited Uthgerd the Unbroken.

That's only quest-important companions. Your real, hired/discovered, companions CAN die.

Good, I look forward to her heroic death. I will then strip her of clothes and dump her in a river.
"what a shame"

Almost all the followers can die.. If they get knocked down like 3-5 times.(depends on a difficult level)

not sure, is it even possible to tell them what gear to wear? you'd think bethesda would be smart enough to not make all the companion mistakes that they made AND subsequently fixed in FO:3/NV again.

they use gear if its better than what they currently have. though it seems a bit arbitrary... i gave lyidia a 2h axe and a 2h hammer that did more damage than the axe, but she would only use the axe....
as for enchantments, i dont think they do... MAYBE weapons, but gear it doesnt look like. i gave her boots with a higher carry weight and she wore them, but it didnt change how much she could carry. perhaps health and damage enchantments might work though? i really dont know... bethesda could have handled companions a lot better methinks...

yeah that's basically what i meant, they'll use what they can automatically from their inventory, but you can't talk to them to make them prefer ranged/melee even or how close they follow, whether they try to tank or hang back etc, basically the stuff they fixed for fallout companions.
as for enchants... try enchanting a random sword with an enchant that has a glowy or sparkling effect that you know what that effect looks like already and draw your weapon and look for the effect on theirs.

so true
at least the choice for "ranged" or "fuck up my stealth" would be nice
