I love the game, voice acting is great fun. And the quests are okay too, it all makes a sense compared to wow. At least in the first 10 levels. And the choices are fun too But maybe I'm too easily pleased... Well good for me, that way I can have more fun xD

I'm honestly having tons of fun with this game, though I must admit that I'm worried the end game content will be incredibly lackluster.

LOL, just finished downloading those 11gb after the patch failed, and the fucking install failed aswell! I thought it might fix it with a launcher restart, but now it wants to download these 11gb's again.

One thing: this game needs some serious optimization. It should run much better comparing to what we see on the screen...

...this. And add on top the non-immersive setting and the non-original gameplay.

Uhm, besides the shadows, performance was good.

I did, but I gave away my key. I didn't want to have to download such a monster client for such a short play test.

Well if they said that this client can be used for full release and just converted with a patch they bring out... But i guess that is too much trouble for them

Something i've been wondering about since playing in party yesterday. I got my companion, but when my friend won the dialogue roll and we both selected the options that should give you companion rep, i only saw the rep when i won the roll. Is it hidden if i lose the roll or do i only gain companion rep when im the winner?

I am enjoying this, sure the MMO mechanics are nothing revolutionary but Star Wars owns and the fact the game is story driven rather than crappy text quests keeps it interesting. Even if I just play through it for a few months with the stories and then quit is fine.
As as been said before, I am hesitant to play it too much now because if I pick the same class then I will have to repeat the story which is going to get boring.

You get a social bonus rep if you win the roll otherwise you only get your light or dark side bonus based on your choice and I think you may get a default amount of social points as well.

I was under the impression that regardless of the roll outcome, you will always get the points related to your own specific response. What you actually see played out is just due to the roll

how do you pick an advanced class? After you reach level 10 you're able to choose right? I press K which allows me to add some special abilites but it says I have to be an advanced class for that??

After you leave the starter area the very first guy should give a quest for that. At least that's how the SithW played out.
Anyways, if I won't feel a huge urge to return before the test is over, then I think I'll leave it as it is now (level 15 Marauder). I don't want to get too deep into the story, only to replay most of it after the game launches.

Nope I just took the shuttles to the next jungle based planet... | For the sith we had to take a shuttle to a space station and there the very first guy with the quest marker above him was the one who directed the player to the class trainers. Like literally as soon as you step out of the hangar bay, standing right there in plain sight.
