You've also posted iPad mocking images. Still, as far as stock iPad goes - most of that image is still very much correct. That's not the iPad 2, it's the first one and unless you buy extra accessories then it still can't take photos or record videos. It's not open-source. It doesn't have HDMI out. It's not 1080p. No flash. No dual-booting. No HD display. No card reader. No phone. No HDD. No keyboard. No expandable memory. No free internet. No E-Ink. No USB support.
Though of course, the last few options are wrong too;
No it doesn't cause eye cancer. Yes it has plenty of excellent games.
Should I really go on? Those are the facts, bud - something you yourself pointed out on many occasions until you went out and bought Apple devices yourself
Actually iPad and iPhone 4 can play 1080p just fine. You have flash storage, that is as much HDD as an SSD. You can connect a bluetooth keybloard just fine, if you want to. Show me which exactly have free internet? Some e-book reader?
Android is not open-source either. You can't pick and choose which will be open and which not. You can't go "we don't feel like it, so we won't release Android 3.0 source".
Regarding some others such as "Desktop OS", it is obviously by some idiot who has not tried a Windows 7 tablet. The thing is so uncomfortable and annoying, you might throw the tablet out of anger and damage it. "E-Ink"? Have fun doing anything other than reading text on that 2 spf (seconds per frame ) black and white with 6 shades of gray.
I agree about Flash, but the thing is no longer a widespread problem. Even Adobe are ceasing first-party support for Flash on mobile. I wonder why. I agree about USB, card reader, HD display. Some are maskable with JB. HD display is coming with iPad 3.
All the things you taunted and mocked other people about, mercilessly, day after day after day... you're now defending and explaining away yourself. My poor Leo went native Soon he'll be having FaceTime chats with Waldo and Barbarian
Having used WP7 and Android, I really don't like Android as much, and WP7 is far away. So what am I left with? One can criticize a lot out of ignorance, but once you get the hand of things, you see differently. And I know you are just trolling now, because you have an iPod, want iPad and wouldn't like Android not one bit.
As for the rest? Well you're preaching to the wrong person, good buddy. I've had an iPod for ages now -- and I love it. I'd LOVE to get an iPad 2 as well, if only just for the vastly increased gaming capabilities. I've used Android on the Archos IT (Android 1.6), Desire HD (Android 2.0) and Galaxy S (Android 2.1) and you're right; I DON'T like it. The whole thing is clunky and counter intuitive, plus the software selection pales miserably compared to IOS.

ICS is Honeycomb and that was released.
I get what you're saying though, but I don't completely agree. Not releasing Honeycomb has more to do with the fact that it was a development branch throughout its existence, not a mainstream build. ICS is the merger of the old master branch with the Honeycomb branch, so it contains everything HC had (the GPL parts of HC were in fact released btw) but now integrated with the main branch and most likely cleaned up code.

These and things like not having HDMI output without having to buy yet another 35+ EUR accessory (that's through other resellers, Apple themselves have it for 40) is what I still don't understand. Here they are, with an extremely high profile product, yet to actually use SD cards with it you need 40 EUR accessory #1 (I almost exclusively use SD cards these days, as they can be read by so many devices). Want to display it on a monitor, TV or -god forbid that you actually use it for something other than leisure- a beamer? Get 40 EUR accessory #2. Want to use both at once? Tough luck
At the same time even the most basic 50 EUR Android 1.6 tablets have all of these things
Fuck you Samsung..... Apple invented the smartphone. You stole everything from them. If you can't think of your own phones then bloody stick to tv's. Samsung will lose in court against apple. I hope the CEO dies in the worst possible way. God I hate Samsung so much.

Be right back, removing someones ability to vote on worldly affairs.
I could post the technical Google Plus posts in which Dianne Hackborn attempts to mask the issue of legginess, and how supposedly iOS is smooth because it trades off security for performance, and then Jay Freeman (of Cydia & etc fame) correcting her bullshit, I will just leave these here, ICS running on Galaxy Nexus:
That's on a 2012 device with dual core CPU and one of the most advanced mobile GPUs.
If anyone wants the G+ posts, let me know, and I will post. The comments there are very interesting. Android is just not as good as iOS (with jb) or Meego, just like Windows Mobile is a fantastic operating system, built on top of a fantastic Windows CE framework, but nobody is using it because users aren't looking for the best kernel.
Yes, someone mentions Opera in the comments, and how they had to implement all the UI from scratch, managing it themselves so they can have acceptable performance.
But make sure to read the comments on the second one, specifically those of Jay Freeman and Joseph Lee, but others as well. Just swift through the Android/iOS fanboys here and there.
