how do you miss it if there never was one?  also the streets are cluttered, so you wouldn't be able to drive it.
so far ras fight was epic
mad hatter was epic
clayface fight was epic
everything else was rather bleh

Yes sir.. DTPro with IDE.. Weird thing is the IDE after mount won't open in explorer..just curious if it's because of the mini image or what
Mini image is only like 40mb..do I need the 9gig one?

In device parameters attach the virtual IDE to your physical drive. Had the same problem and doing that worked. And yes the mini image is supposed to be small.

All well attached the virtual IDE to my hardware drive andn ow it 's just saying wrong disk inserted (With Paul/lang removed)..wonder wtf i'll have to do now.)

fuck. Crash everytime the game wants to save. Whatever an online GFWL profile or offline one, all the same. Don't know if it is related to the new version of GFWL or what, just impossible to pass the first cutscene during the saving moment. lol

cutscenes movies seem to be a problem, I think. For example, after having removed "bac_logo.usm" and "StartupNV.swf" the game can go into the first mission. But after that, the second cutscene movie crashes again. That's the point then. Maybe patching the game or removing all the movies would be a solution.
BTE, BA:AC is absolutely AWESOME in 3D Vision mode, very nice visuals, tell you, and more, no stuttering at all.

Whoa... I removed a DVD from the physical and it worked with it mapped..was a blank DVD lol.

Does anyone know how to use savegames from the Non-Steam Version to Steam Version ? I played the campaign with the unlocked files from jbeckman and now I want to be able to continue side missions with Steam version. If I replace them directly, it says save corrupt.

This took a little bit for me too since there is no definitive guide. With DT you add a single IDE Drive.
Then click on View -> Virtual Devices
At the bottom you will see your IDE drive. Click click it and you will see "Attach to Physical Drive" From there you can attach it to your SATA or such drive..

Thanks, managed to attach it but i get the same thing. I'm starting to think it's the IND release that's borked somehow.
O well, gonna wait for a proper scene release and if not, gonna try the p2p later on. Thanks anyway guys.

It's a GFWL title, so I suppose you must use xlive or liveless or whatever it was.

Tried this already, it just says that the save is corrupt. I compared the saves with a hex editor and it seems there are quite a few differences. I'll continue to use the non-steam version to do side-missions and use the steam version for a second playthrough when the DX11 patch will be available.

Go in Daemon Tools in the IDE you created .right click Device PArameters and Set DVD region to not set.I was having the same error and changed this and everything worked

I think emulation bypassing with a mini image for this game is better than a crack.Eliminates the possibilities of protection triggers throughout the game.

another thing i found i liked... multiple simultaneous counter-attack triggers 
grabbed one guy and swung him into another two
also some of the environmental combat is fun... grabbed a dude and slammed his head into a van
but is it me, or is this game INSANELY forgiving. arkham asylum, if you fucked up, you pretty much died, especially around the guys with the guns... but here, the game seems quite happy to let you go toe to toe with gun wielding dudes without the need for any stealth... even normal combat, with counter-attacks seems much harder to fuck up now as well too... not that AA was hard or anything, it just feels like this time around, it seems almost impossible to screw up unless you REALLY arent paying attention...

I find AC on HARD very UNforgiving.
It's really necessary to time counters right or you get beaten.
I really hate when I have to fight a lot of enemiest at once. Usually that means restarting a big fight 3-5 times.
Guns hurt badly too.

ok well i play it on normal, same as i did for aa, so i guess its true.. normal for these console games really is the pc gaming equivalent of piss easy these days

At least on AA there was no "Im gonna hit you mark", now even on hard its on.
I know, when you beat the game and unlock new game+ you dont get the hit mark anymore (since i got 100%, gotta love the iphone app)
