awesome game...really addictive...like Breakneck said "best Batman game I've ever played". The only thing i hate in this game is that you cant use the gas and flashbangs when ever you want...like im on a pipe above 3 guys, drop a flashbang on them will be sweet before i drop on them...but you cant and it suck

the graphics are really great, in the beginning i really liked the game, the moves looked pretty nice, but now i realized its actually pretty mediocre gameplay.
its one of the most linear games i played for a long time, almost everything is context sensitive, so there arent really alot of moves, and the fighting system gets boring after a while.
this game is just too linear, there s basically only one way of doing everything.

It's like a shit version of SplinterCell:CT. Which means it's ok.

BTW, that has context sensitive moves and it's one of the best games ever. I don't see what your problem is. It allows you to perform alot more moves then would be available with conventional controls.

nah i dont mean it like that, there simply isnt alot of interactivity, there are special spots where you re supposed to do a certain thing and you do so by only pressing a single button, its heavily scripted.
yea it is a very cheap version of sc:ct, in that game you had so many ways of finishing a mission, alot of options, and there the context sensitive control really did give you alot of freedom.
in batman its different, instead of being able to pull off certain moves over and over whenever you want, theyre simply scripted and activated with a single button press at a few places in the game only.
its the same as with that jet li ps2 game, rise of honour.
in the trailers it looked all great, like wow he can pull off all these moves and stuff, but in the actual game it was just a context sensitive press of a single button which activated long fighting animations you didnt really control at all.

I like this game very much! Yes, it's linear, and yes, there's a lot of context-sensitive action, but it's still fun to play!

pretty decent game considering its a movie tie in and all, is it just me though or are the camera controls a little twitchy - the controls for this type of game are bread and butter to me, just your standard left thumbstick to walk/move and right thumbstick to control camera but the camera seemed to be all over the place. Confused

PostPosted: Sun, 12th Jun 2005 14:12    Post subject: Well i'm baffled, can anyone help??
Hmm, Started playing it, looked ok.
Right at the start i got to a bit where i have to lower a prisoner etc, but batman takes a wobblie and throws a heated sword into a powder keg blah blah blah. They say there gonna kill me and circle round. Now this is the bit i have a problem with.
First kick or punch i throw i get mission failed. If they kick me once its mission failed.
So i run about like a TIT and when they catch me it's mission failed.

Help?

I just kicked ass and bust a groove after freeing the prisoner.

Yeah m2, but I never understood the way bruce acted in that scene. I mean maybe in the movie we will find out.

It's like "I can't kill a murderer" "But I have no problem's killing a samurai, who's trained for his codex all life. THat blast took out a lot of guards...

It looks like they used the exact same "skeleton" for his character model as with Sam in Splinter Cell CT.

I made a thread along time ago about how they should make a batman game like Splinter Cell. Those bastards stole my idea :{

Great Game though, I was surprised, they finally made a half decent Batman game, about time Shocked

I started playing this a few days ago and completed it now, and wow, it was a great ride. A game has to be REALLY good if I'm going to finish it, so in other words, this is very good in my opinion. It's a very simple game and very linear, but yet I found it to be extremely entertaining. I absolutley loved batmans moves, they never got bored, not even the fighting, and the levels were incredible. The only complain I have is that the car levels were quite annoying and boring but that's it, the rest was just superb.
I hope there will be a batman begins2 movie so another game will come Smile
