Typical american movie, you can predict the plot from the first 15 minutes.

127 hours 8/10 - highly emotional
| Spoiler: | beginning is cool, the part where he gets stuck for a couple of days is pretty boring but that is because it build up to this highly emotional rescue. man after he freed himself and got rescued it was so emotional. it was one of those scenes in a movie where my eyes get all watery and i feel for the character, just like in braveheart in the seen where he is screaming FREEDOM. awesome ending! |

The Thing Prequel... This is a hard one. I'd say 6/10 at best.
I thought it was generally a decent movie. However, the lead actor (the chick) was really weak for the role. The majority of the actors were shit as well. Only a couple of the Norwegian actors really did a good job.
Now, my biggest gripe - The audio and video quality of this film is very poor. Maybe it was the BDRip I watched.. But I don't think it was really down to that. Very poor use of lighting, very poor film transfer. The audio wasn't that great either. It just seemed very budget to me.
The CGI was wonderful, but that doesn't help the aforementioned.
About the only part of the film that I truly enjoyed was the ending during the credits and the connection to the 'The Thing'. Had this film had a higher budget, and better actors - IMO, it could have been much better.

Hodejegerne 7.5/10. The acting was so-so and the plot was a lot more simplistic than i had hoped, but it was an enjoyable ride nonetheless.

A bit above average , some nice sick scenes makes it worth a watch..can't come near to old ones..

That was awesome! Far-fetched and very unbelievable, but if I wanted a documentary I'd turn on Discovery Channel, this was good scifi with a great premise <3

Really good concept, the acting wasn't that phenomenal, but I enjoyed the story...
