its not the best card, but should be good enough!

and if you want to buy a new card, buy a real new card like a 6800GT or x800 but not the old cards!

thanks for answering so you say that 9600 pro 128mb is enough i only need more RAM? What size should i buy RAM?

What I'm saying is that the "freezing" isn't there because of your graphics card, it's there because you have too little ram. Even if you buy a 6800 ultra you will still get the same amount of "freezing" because 512mb is just not enough and a new gfx card wont help that. Smile
When games seem to "freeze" for short periods it's always due to low memory, so upgrading other parts EXCEPT the ram will not get you anywhere.

So buy more ram first and THEN you can invest in a new gfx card, not the other way around. Smile
Although a 9600pro shuld give you decent framerates at mediocre settings and with a good amount of ram, but dont expect it to handle the game at good ingame settings. Put it on low/medium or the game will drop framerates and in return feel slow and laggy.

@SirCez - I had similar problem to yours a few months ago - I bought a new RAM and my PC was restarting at random time. The problem was that when the application tried to use that new memory, the memory didnt work and that caused the restart. So, my suggestion is that you do some memorychecks and if the case is the same as mine, just return that RAM and get another one as a refund ..

Memtest86 is your friend, download that and run it. It checks your memory and will show you if there are any errors.
It's a dos program btw so you need a floppy.
It's also a great program to use when you push that FSB and those timings.

Game begins to crash if u have played serveral Hours, about 20 - 30..u cant save in towns anymore, or in army bases.

Most of the fucking bugs come if u get near and nearer to the End of the Game.

With the Patch,.. game runs smoother in Jungle etc. but in Cities its almost laggy Sad

I have 2G of ram and sometimes even that isn't enough in modern games.

Yes it is. Just because a game isn't smooth doesn't mean you don't have enough RAM.

p4 3.4e@3.81GHz, Ati Radeon x800 xt pe @ stock, 2G of ram @ 224Mhz. The game is silky smooth (>50 min fps) @ 1152x864, everything on max except antialiasing is on setting of 1. What are you talking about?

With a 2gb amount of ram i can play far cry and doom3 at the same time...and by that i wanted to say that 2gb of ram is MORE than enough.

Sometimes I think that developers release a not-optimized game on purpose just so people who don't have a clue about hardware just go to the store and buy some new shit. MONEY MONEY anyone? Hello? Well, maybe I'm just being paranoid (too much Deus Ex) but it could be some conspiracy between devs and hardware makers.
