I died a few times there because I was impatient, but the fight is not that hard if you're careful. Also, as long as the fight is not full of enemies with firearms, Catwoman is a lot better than Batman. The fights are so much easier with her, especially if you use the caltrops.
Anyway, I just started New Game + and this shouldn't take that long as I collected absolutely everything in the normal playthrough and now there's only the main plot + the side missions to be done.

I have obe question. I got a key from proekaan and it all worked great (thanks again man). Now I would like to make myself a backup (I have pretty slow connection and downloading 16 GVB can be really annoying). Can i use a retail disc image as a backup for this game? I do have a legit cdkey afterall.

im so used to batman for the bulk of the game, with all his gear and using his tactics n shit, then i get dumbed with this useless chick and everything goes to shit
i still got through it, but jeez, what a total gameplay switch... like i had to relearn everything.
i DID enjoy that big fight just before it though, with the 20 or so bad dudes (dunno the actual number) - THAT was pretty fun i gotta say. |
Take out one dude silently in a corner; wait for all nubcakes to go and investigate; kick the shit out of Dent.

Spoilery question
Spoiler: | After Protocol 10 is initiated..do the damn helis ever go away? I'd rather have gun baddies than not be able to look around for more than 10 seconds without a helicopter coming after me while I"m trying to find a riddle. |

Yes, after you finish the main story you can play further and complete whatever you have left to complete (the city will return to the pre-Protocol 10 state).

I'm a bit confused what you mean. Presumably at some point you downloaded 16Gb of data, whether it was from Steam (in which case it would appear you can make back up files like normal in Steam) or a scene release (in which case you already have the files).
I have it on steam but just pasted all the files from the unlocked steam release in to steam once I'd activated my key and steam started creating the folder structure. Once I'd finished copying and pasting I just made steam verify the files and it replaced all the ones that were modified (I had downloaded a couple cracks before purchasing a key).

Well, I really did enjoy this game while it lasted - But I thought AA was a better game overall. I remember AA being longer even though this game is supposed to be 'bigger'.
The difficulty of this game wasn't nearly as bad as AA either. Hard mode was stupid easy for me. Far to many gadgets this time around as well, and the large majority of them you only use just to solve riddler trophies.
So good game, but I just don't think it was as good as AA was.

OK finally managed to get this working with NEOGAME crack. NEOGAME definately injected something into PhysXExtensions.dll and the crack also needs lang.ini and paul.dll... I also noticed the 348KB PhysXExtensions.dll but I thought it had nothing to do with the crack itself... I was totally wrong... turns out the bigger PhysXExtensions.dll is absolutely needed to make the whole thing work... so game now works fine in combination with the FightClub files

i too think that overall AA is the better overall experience.
i loved the things in AC that it did better, like the combat and the boss fights, but i missed the far creepier feel of AA, and it felt much more structured and better paced... and i miss scarecrow
both are great games, AC brought some great new stuff, but for me AA only JUST edges it out as the best experience.

Open up a poll and we'll decide.

there is just no need for a fucking poll
YES holy fucking yes you should play this with a controller.
anyone who is THAT into this whole 'zomg keyboard and mouse is the greatest control scheme EVARR' needs to get the fuck over it. this game was made for the controller, and as such it works best with a controller. and its also much much more fun to play with the controller.

So FIGHTCLUB release does not have DLCs? If so is it possible to take them from other releases?
