I've noticed that this game has a very high rating here on the frontpage (with 50 votes, which is quite a lot). Is it really good? Anone ever tried it?

Only retarded whiners who keep on moaning for future releases without ever having played the game itself vote there... Rolling Eyes

I'd rather download something and test it for myself than give any heed to the NFOrce vote it gets.

played it for tutorial & 2 missions as human character - novel fantasy units & structures - gripes are low animation quality for units, 2D world, confusing upgrade options for units, like WC3 main hero char's can pickup magical items but these abilities aren't hot-key referenced so in battle you have to click the ability & then click again on the correct unit to invoke it. musical score is nice * hero characters say some funny things "I've lost my sense of humor, etc", but that's about it

game just feels real old - like playing AoE. Just no excuse nowadays for lasy developers to churn out this old-fashioned rubbish anymore - WC3 set the standard like 2-3 years back & this game doesn't even touch it - pathetic - check out AoE III screenshots to see what the new RTSs should be - http://www.ageofempires3.com/ScreenshotsMedia/ ;-P

You wanted a Miracle, I give you the F. B. Eye !!

This is an oldschool game, more like Warcraft2. I ain't that sure that lack of 3D really matters in RTS games. The problem is, there is nothing revoutionary about this game, only something you have seen thousands of times. I didn't like the game much for one more reason - the installer is 600MB and it unpacks itsdelf to temp dir or smth. Sucks.
