| All that butter hysteria is just pure bullshit.
ONE type of HORRIBLE tasting butter is almost out, and the news makes it sound like a national tragedy!
For baking we got a fucking awesome margerine, and for bread butter we got another fucking awesome delicious butter.

Even my dad (who is a professional chef) says the butter hysteria is pathetic, since that type of butter is shit for baking/cooking anyways.

I hate you.

					| Its low on carbs, but has lots of fat. So I agree, it seems really idiotic. | garus wrote: | | Low carb so they fucking stuff themselves with butter? How's that healthy? |

+1 Here in Italy (especially in my zone) almost nobody uses it, since we have an exceptional olive oil that is good for everything
And it's better for the health, too!

					| That's very true, Mediterranean diet wouldn't be the same without olive oil but there are dozens of awesome dishes that basically "require" butter. Cakes and desserts in general, but also a lot of second courses+special sauces
@Inz: hehe I guess it's because you aren't used to it
. Not to mention that olive's oil quality outside Italy is very very bad :S (except for Spain, Greece and other Mediterranean countries)

I'm assuming you failed to mention olive oil from Croatia out of pure jealousy, right?
|
Ohh I'm sorry
I've never had the pleasure to taste the Croatian oil ..but at least I mentioned the "other Mediterranean countries", give me credit for this | |
