Right I forgot one thing, how big is the savegame and how many hours is it at. Smile

There's a very large chance of save corruption occurring as you reach ~50+ hours or playtime this will manifest in longer and longer load times

Wouldn't the solution here be to make a new save every hour or so since the only file that would get corrupted would be the newest save, which usually is a quick save or auto-save?

With finally a lot of free time in my hands today I continued my playthrough and played the game for ~5 hours.

I became a werewolf, managed to kill a frost Troll, explored 6 dungeons, learned to shout properly, bought a house, crafted some juicy stuff, found a new companion, stole a horse, killed 3 dragons and a couple of bears and didn't even take an arrow in the knee.

Steam says I played 64 hours, I'm still enjoying the game very much. I did those 64 hours since release though, I don't have time to play regularly so I didn't get bored (yet?). The excessive dragon thing is happenning to me too now, I think it's MQ related. The more I progress the MQ, the more dragons appear. Dragons should really have been unique.

PS. SkyUI = teh awesome.

Anyway, we were living in Riften but Ive noticed that Aerin was living in the same house...
So I told her we are moving to Solitude (or what ever the name is)...
And after 2 missions Aerin shows up there in my house AGAIN !!!...

Im kind of bored at ~55 hours, having done Thieves Guild, Companions, Dark Brotherhood. These quest lines were all rather "meh." The main quest so far (just visited Parthunax or whatever his name is) seems pretty awesome though.

You should consider switching to 64-bit Windows anyway

I never got that quest to complete like that, received it after the MQ and had read the books about him (And what the name meant and his position.) but I was only allowed to kill him to progress that particular quest although it really did anger a certain group of people. Very Happy
(But having restored my status with that other group had much better benefits.)

Can always go for x64 in Windows 8 when it launches next year (And turning off some not-so-necessary features probably.) or how it was, still I imagine that if you are using a lot of mods and texture packs the problem is due to the game starting to run low on available memory, 32-bit and 3 GB RAM with the LAA patched exe can see the game use up all of it and thus slowing down both the game and OS to a crawl at worst.
(But it seems fairly manageable so far in how you described it with just a little slowdown during the larger exterior areas - outdoors - in the game.)

Well not for me, all my devices have proper 64-bit drivers and I play very old games in virtual machine anyway, and most of everyday tools such as WinRAR, 7-Zip, Total Commander, CCleaner etc exist in 64-bit version now.

Damn there is a 64 Bit Total Commander ???
hmmm, goto check on that...Yeh, like thats really needed...

Well, there was... Cool...Hope its faster than the elder versions...

Also.
Im using the SkyUI and -Elys- Uncapper, but cant get the -Elys- Uncapper to work... Sad
Get the error :

Data\SKSE\Plugins\\SKSE_Elys_Uncapper.dll (00000001 SKSE_Elys_Uncapper 01010030) reported as incompatible during load init complete

Any ideas ???... I got the latest SKSE, V4

Latest Elys .dll also (It needs a update after each patch since it's a .dll plugin.) and is it 1.4.1 of SKSE or just 1.4.0?

Well, there are two things

1. Windows does folder remapping when you try to access a system folder from 32-bit application. When you are browsing from 64-bit totalcmd, you see folders as they are
2. You can use 64-bit shell extensions only from 64-bit applications (context menu commands etc). 32-bit totalcmd has a workaround for that ("x64" submenu with 64-bit context commands), but it's slow

So yeah, it completely makes sense to use 64-bit almost-a-system-tool on a 64-bit Windows.

So..I wanted to try the SkyUI but the skse requires the updated game. Now, since I'm still on the super-stable v1.1, is it safe to finally update to the 1.3 version? I wouldn't like to suddenly have corrupt savegames and/or brand new bugs Beth-style Razz
