Oh I do, though I forgot to add that part about how Ali213 has the files an hour or so after the official release and then the day or so after that until they've cracked it. Razz
(Other groups like Reloaded and Skidrow would likely be far faster also, unsure how it works with protection here, there are some star-force references but I don't know if it's active, unsure about CEG as well.)

It's CEG on one of the core engine.dll files (Probably the same for all Source titles.) and Star-Force via activation but the lesser variant with no driver requirements, easy to manage.
(Unsure how easy it is to crack this though, still the Russian version got trough with a keygen and manual activation and that one likely works here too so it's just CEG.)

The game doesn't quite work so that's probably why, keeps crashing and generating these mini-dump files before it can properly start at all, still going trough those but I've found little info on what the problem could be.

EDIT: Solved it, game started at the proper aspect ratio even but at 720xsomething resolution. Razz

EDIT: Tutorial (A small bridge that is well bridging the towns of Paradise and Catharsis.) completed and on to the game proper, runs pretty good (~65 fps or so average.) but there's no driver profile unfortunately though it still performs quite well, looks similar to Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal 2 and probably a similar (Post-Ep2 Source Engine update.) version of Source.

(Some of these are doomed to be deleted I guess, strong content and all that.)

EDIT: Alternate but more random.

EDIT: Since it's Source using -console or -dev or some such would probably work to toy with the more advanced console settings, unsure if one can change the camera like this but it's probably doable, unsure if it would be fully playable but it's something to try later on. Very Happy

(I like the game so far, but I enjoyed most of the previous Postal games.)

I'd say it's worth a purchase but try to find a good deal for it, Steam is probably going to be a bit more expensive depending on your region, Gamersgate had a 10% off as is common for pre-orders although it's still around 30 GBP though in comparison to retail titles here in Sweden ~350 SEK is a bit cheaper than the usual 400 - 499 SEK pricing although not by much.

A release would help since there's no demo, reviews and normal user opinions would likely help also but there's probably not much available with how Steam keeps messing with the games release, Gamersgate is probably a fair bit smaller in comparison.

A key store or similar would probably also help a lot as the price would become more manageable. Smile

I guess that Russian release might work as well with the unofficial (text only I guess.) translation but finding a good download and all the updates as well would probably be a bit cumbersome.
(Outside of eastern-European download sites and such.)

I'll play on a while longer and will try to give some new opinions and remarks on the game, I'd imagine the humor level and shocking content might give it a rather low score in most professional reviews but that's just a guess.
(Source engine is a bit dated too but it works, from UE2 - Postal 2 - to UE3 might perhaps have been better but it's not a bad engine with these recent updates and the game performs really well.)

How about animations? The gameplay on YT looks horrific but maybe they improve it for final release.

gnaaa,i want that,too
the usual places only offer versions where no one knows if everything is english or
russian/english combo

edit: tried around a bit and there seem to be no way to get the russian voices out of the cutscenes

It is in one word very "chaotic" but if you are used to that from the earlier Postal (or similar.) games it's manageable. Smile

The developers use a lot of humor and satire which can be a bit much at times though the brutality is a bit toned down over from how Postal and Postal 2 did it.

Or well Postal 1 kinda went all out with how you were this character who more or less lost it and started shooting at everything going from urban levels to disaster zones to a home for elderly (nudists.) a shopping mall and even a zoo and school area (Where the game ended as you killed a bunch of kids with a flamethrower.) whereas Postal 2 used a lot of gore and decapitation which while still present isn't as detail in this Source engine driver sequel.

Postal 3 instead gives you more shocking tasks and gets really weird at times while making fun of or offending most anyone though instead of being full sandbox with some loosely defined goal it's a bit more level progression based (At least so far.) but there's a lot to do in the different levels and it gets very varied and some are also fairly large.

Downsides other than how some will find the gameplay is mostly down to the game engine, Source is a bit dated so certain textures are rather low-res and models are fairly boxy / blocky and the voice overs and animations are a bit low-budget but that's just some few remarks on the visuals and game engine other than that I find the game highly enjoyable but you kinda have to like this sort of humor or crude satirical set up in order to fully enjoy the game. Smile

I'm not that good at describing things but I think it turned out OK, there's a lot of improvements to the game as well of course though I normally focus entirely on positive things about a game so I've tried to take some of the downsides into account as well here.
(It's made fun of in-game but the AI can be very frustrating as well, it's by design though so there's not much to do about it.)

Oh right performance was pretty good initially but in larger scenes with a lot of NPC activity framerate takes a bit of a hit, I guess it's a engine limitation but the patches (The two so far.) have helped a lot though it's not always 100% stable so when loading a save (For failing a objective for example which blocks a desired outcome.) a few times it can get a bit unstable, lots of AI activity can also make things stutter a bit but it's much improved. Smile
(Save regularly and it can be minimized without too much lost if it should crash but I hope it's improved or even fixed entirely.)

Don't know what else I can say about the game, posted some screen earlier but I don't want to spoil some major event or even interesting encounter or such so I've tried to be a bit vague (Other than with some of the images I've posted.) best would be to try the game or demo it should a demo or full release become available (There's the Russian version with localized data though it's a bit hard to find.) things would improve a bit but I guess user opinions and video captures might work quite OK too, unsure how professional reviewers will go at the game since it's a bit extreme but I imagine it'll have a rather diverse score but probably average at a rather low value.
