Performances were quite outstanding in moneyball. Brad Pitt as one of the finest of the bunch
I don't give a crap about baseball either, but the way the story was brought kept me going.
Interesting portrait of a selfish? selfless? man

Your national song starts with something the first polish regiment under Napoleon sang, and he is even named in your song.

Seems like Charles-Maurice deTalleyrand was right when he advised that Poland was not worth "a single drop of French blood". Laughing

I'd give it more than 8 if I could figure out wtf they were trying to insinuate with the ending scenes.

I've had this movie for a long time but just watched it again..for those who haven't seen it:

Rise of the Footsoldier - 9/10.

Well I really liked it, seemed realistic enough, no one man hero-bullshit, or some unthinkable plot twist or tragedy just for the sake of getting a reaction. And, I read nothing about the movie prior to getting it, and was damn surprised by the somewhat big names in the movie - before you'd seen them all, it felt like new ones were popping up in every scene

I think this and Margin Call are good, recent examples that you can make movies that are interesting and generally catcing movies, without having to resort to some crazy twist, sudden tragedy, lone gun hero etc. It doesn't need to be over the top emotional rollercoasters for shit to be good. Yes, WE KNOW THIS already, but of all the movies I've seen since Jan 1st of this year, there two have got that nailed down the best IMO. I'm sure there are better ones out there, so calm down, you who are planning on calling me out after you've read this

So fake deaths done on film for entertainment (not my cup of tea, but to each their own) is fucked up and wrong.

But shooting someone in the head is perfectly acceptable.

Very well, first part of the movie, they kidnap a homeless chick, drug her, rape her then piss on her. Then the twist is that the homeless chick is actually some god awful cannibal that bites the tit off some other chick.

Second part of the film. I can't even describe this, just gonna skip it. Some shit with huge dicks mounted on women and telekinetic rape. /Smile

Third part of the film. Some dude loves dogs. He loves dogs so much that he ties his naked girlfriend to the bed, ass up, pours some chopped meat and random shit on her naked ass and then lets the dogs in to have a snack. The whole part looks like a scat-lover's wet dream.

Tell me, which part of this is not fucking demented?

50/50 - 8/10
Great movie. Kinda sad but it had a happy ending Smile

Battleground - 6.5/10
Pure action, pretty graphic at times :/

Carnage - 6/10
It had some few funny moments... but really? 1t 15min in one place. I mean, even "Phonebooth" had more locations...

Underground - 5.5/10
At times it felt like a extended X-files episode Laughing

Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang - 7/10
Nice kids movie

And the newest one...
A lonely place to die - 7.5/10
great action/thriller!
