Again, a kind of games I usually don't play at all but that has a few gems I couldn't be be allowed to miss. Also, for the record, I personally consider Deus Ex HR much more of a shooter (same as first Deus Ex) than a RPG, that's why I will just add it to the list even when it's my favourite game of the year.
1. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
2. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
3. Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

i'm gonna go with deus ex HR, it didn't try to be more than it should have and it was more enjoyable than i expected by far, the boss fights were shit, but oh well, endings were also shit, but realistically i'd have never seen the other two if i had to work for them.

Skyrim
Deus Ex
Witcher 2
Deus Ex was a let down, I think alot of people rate it so highly because they are fanboys of the original...
