I stayed away from most of the other "confirmed to be shit" titles but these two take the cake as the biggest disappointments IMO since I wasn't expecting them to be so bad.

its simple actually - i expected more out of these five games in that particular order. Duke is last, because it was kinda obvious whats going to happen.

I played other games like Crysis 2 and MW3 and in no way were they disappointing - they were what I expected - not great but just what I expected. My choices listed were hugely disappointing and I actually pre-ordered 1 & 2. Thankfully I resisted the temptation to pay for Rage.

Only Duke Nukem Forever, Dragon Age 2 and id's collossal waste of disk space Rage stand out for me this year. On the whole pc gaming turned a corner and has been steadily improving over the last few previous years. Hope the trend will continue.
