Well that was... weird.

And the best thing is, all the incredible amount of "weirdness" has a purpose in the end, with a strong critic towards the society we're living in Razz

I really, truly gave it a chance. Gary Oldman is like my favourite actor of all time, but this movie really fucking tested my patience. A complete snoozefest.

Not enough pew pew pew Rolling Eyes

Yeah, that is totally it, and not the slow pacing, boring ass story and dull narrative. I've seen documentaries on paint drying that were more interesting. Rolling Eyes

Yeah, well you're kinda right, but i suggest watching it until the end since the ending is interesting. Gotta be honest, until the last 30 minutes or so when they closing in on the mole it wasn't particularly compelling to watch.
A real slow burner but good nonetheless.

The Man Who Would Be King 9/10

Thoroughly enjoyed it, based on the Rudyard Kipling short story starring Sean Connery and Michael Caine.

The Thing (2011) - 7 / 10

I liked it for the most part. It wasn't very horror at all but I liked that they didn't hold back on showing the creature and there were some pretty gruesome kills. I don't really remember the first one so I can't comment on how well it serves as a prequel.

War horse 2/10 - Extremely predictable and cheesy (á la Speilberg). This can sometimes be a good thing (Dances with wolves) but Spielberg tends to make it really bad imo.

Tree of Life

5/10

Boring pretentious mess.

However, it did have the most beautiful sequence I've seen/heard since The Fountain.

50/50 8.5/10 loved it, i remember some things bothering me, but cant put my finger on them right now.
La Haine 6.5/10 At times it was very good, but the characters pissed me off. They were mentally retarded.
Into the wild 9/10 wonderful film, I did not expect the ending

Weird, I found the characters to be spot on (very realistic). One of my favourit movies all time

What you call retarded, i'd rather describe as boredom, macho behaviour (which is common in parisian suburbs and pretty much anywhere where minority young people don't get opportunities in life) They resort to drug and violence

Tinker Tailor Soldier Snooze! Couldn't last 30 minutes. Probably need to be in the mood. Didn't even understand what the fuck was going on. Probably shouldn't booze while watching this one. I'll try again.

Moneyball - 8.5/10
Sherlock Holmes 2 - 7/10
The Perfect Host - 9.5/10
The Next Three Days - 9/10
