hmm all servers i ve played in in the last few hrs were without time limit, so there should be enough of em left.
anyway, what classes do you ppl prefer to play with?
i mostly use medic: good firepower, healing, reviving and so easy to accumulate points, perfect in my eyes.

Spec ops is best, you get a rifle which can spray full auto, the ironsight is a red dot, you get sticky c4's, blowin up stuff and setting traps is the shit, but the next best class to that would be the medic or anti-tank then support

I found all the classes to have very specific and all useful jobs, you can't say one is the best and another is not. It is extremely true that the Special Ops is one of the best classes when it comes to versatility. But there are times where a say an engineer can turn the tides of a battle.

I usually play spec ops. Though my time as a medic was pretty fun. I'm trying to give them all equal time but I keep coming back to spec ops.

Unlock weapons
*works in single player and lan games, will work online *IF* the server hosting *AND* all the clients have the same hacked python file.
navigate to:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 Demo\python\bf2\stats
Open the file unlocks.py with notepad
find the line:
Code:
defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
change to:
Code:
defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]

i ran it at 1280*968 and 4x AA and it still looked choppy,
i tried to put the resolution to 1280*1028 with that console line but it doesnt look better, and AA doesnt make it look better either, it stays kinda choppy plus it gets really blurry, bleh.
and btw these pics are prolly taken on the highest resolution and then resized for forum post, hence they dont look as choppy.
take a ps2 screenshot, make the picture half the size and you ll think wow 1280*1028...

If you want to play on a no time limit server just use the word 'time' in the filter window and apply the settings.
edit: whoops, nevermind. Just got home and read that EA is de listing hacked servers and banning any servers that don't comply.

Go to the bf2 website and make it there. The client doesn't seem to work for everyone when setting up an account.

If you have an ATI card:
AA Needs to be off in ATI settings, and then on in BF2 for it to work. |
i can deactivate AA in the ATI settings, 2x is the minimum option. |

this game is great as long as you get a good commander and smart people that know how to play.
If you want the unlocked servers just look for them, alot of them say
FLORIDA SERVER -- WEP UNLOCK -- NOTIME
^^ its not real but a good example. Ive played on many servers with both wep and gun unlocks and its pretty damn fun

i ll buy the original anyway, there s too much implementation into master servers and stats etc., so playing it on cracked servers wouldnt really be the real experience and i dont think there ll be many cracked servers which can handle 64 players without lag, well this game is wort buying it 100%.
and yea its really great if you have a great commander, it makes a big difference and you also need good ppl in your team who actually follow the mission and dont teamkill for vehicles. last night i had the best match ever, all 5 ppl in my team followed the rules precisely, gave priority to reviving and supporting team members and the commander gave detailed waypoint commands cuz he knew the exact locations of the enemies, that way we could always easily flank the enemy and capture the base.
it makes a BIG difference in gameplay to be in such a team and have such a commander, due to that it is easily the best online game i ever played.

Ok, I haven´t tried this yet...is it worth putting energy into, before the full game is out? If you look at gameplay, graphics, number of plaeyrs playing/servers etc etc..

Yeah, I have to agree with Kuja. With a good commandor this game can turn to a real masterpeice. The night when I've played in Stooz team, he gave precise orders and I can remember the team followed it and it really gave us the advantage againt the enemy. This game is worth every penny.

Anyone know any good servers browser to it ? Because that in-game browser is pissing me off .. It takes 10min to download the whole list then is almost freezing do death or sometimes even crash whole PC
