Ah, now i get it.
When OCZ has problems, everyone has to shout it off the roofs and laugh at "how bad OCZ is", but now their beloved brand is messing up, it's all being kept quiet ^^

I'm not pointing towards anyone specific, the people know who i mean and unless you trashed nonstop on OCZ SSD's, you are not one of them then

Part of the reason people would choose a crucial SSD over a faster OCZ sandforce drive is because of the better support should a problem arise.
This demonstrates that perfectly.
sausje fail.
You should have read the article, and the arguments for choosing a M4 drive before posting.

What do you mean better support? All the OCZ Sandforce issues were resolved back at the end of September.
In the end, both companies have failed. However, both the Vertex 3 and M4 are pretty much rock solid reliable now that people have been using them for about a year and the issues have been patched.

In the way that Crucial/micron develop the firmware themselves, where OCZ need to rely on sandforce to supply them.
Directly the reason this issue was resolved so fast for the M4.
There will always be bugs to work out along the line.
You will see issues on OCZ and Crucial forums if you visit them.
I wouldn't say OCZ drives are shit or don't ever buy them. Have never said this or seen anybody saying this on this or any other forum.
God knows where sausje got his hair brained ideas from.

Even tho the guy is on my ignore, i know he's prolly ranting now about it, yes hes one of the people i meant with this^^
But you are right, since their last update (that was around sept, when Werelds flashed the firmware for me), i didn't had a single BSOD related to the SSD, before i had quite alot. But that got solved with the firmware update.

So something is new when I post something from 1932 because it hasn't been posted here?
