READ OUT ALOUD 9TH [7 broken fats from arcades to elites to pro and ONE XBOX SLIM that had the red light on a acu and it fried the boardunit MICROSHIT WTF???!!!] on the other and i had ONE and ONLY ONE borked sony console ps3 with a broken laser that was fixed in 1 week but i bought a slim on the safe side ... and those BOTH ps3 still work to this day [the first ps3 is the LAUNCH PS3!!!! and the laser broke from constant use as a DVD/BD-player/gaming platform ]

Back in the old days PS2 was the NR1 shit console with its hardware failures thats why it NEEDED a redesign... and xbox1 was a TOP product but now the places switched... lets only hope they WILL NOT SCREW THE CUSTOMER AGAIN

I've had TWO Xboxes, I only bought the second because I couldn't JTAG the first due to a dash update.
I've had one since launch and it works fine, I play it 3-4hrs some days now but in the past easily 8-9hrs a day - straight, no e74 no Rrod no nastiness it's just a pleasant console.
Either your a heavy smoker or have lots of pets and don't keep your house clean.

Just think of the possibilities the movie industry could have with only two of those 720's connected.. The level of detail could be hundreds of times better than that of Avatar (if not using realtime rendering). And instead of paying a few million dollars for all the computers, it'll be available for a few hundred bucks.. Mindblowing stuff!
Really? 1080p? Thats what this consoles were suppose to be able to do. not "HD" 720p with 30fps.

But in all seriousness, these are rumours, and even if they are somewhat true, who cares? It's the end result that matters, I mean the X360 contains hardware that is over 7 years old, and there are still games for the 360 that look good. Not great compared to a maxed-out PC game, but try playing the games that run on the 360 today on PC hardware from 2005, that also cost as much (little) that a 360 does. Or did, back then, you know what I mean.
I'm more curious about the RAM really. I wonder whether they'll again go for supersexysuperspeed RAM which costs a shitload so they have to use the bare minimum, or normal RAM which they can use 4GB of. I really doubt developers get any input while designing a console, which is utterly retarded. Especially with Sony and their experimental cores and whatnot it's ridiculous. Sure it's sexy technology, but useless when devs don't have the desire nor the knowledge to fully use it. "Sensibility" should be teh key word when designing a console, not "OMFG look at this sexy new technology!?!ZOMFG".
