Can't you compare the two exes and do the changes yourself?

Look at previous pages? It is in the latest version already, from Theta update.

Considering the version differences, it wouldn't be as simple as comparing the changes - because it wouldn't just be the fps/ratio additions but also the updated changes from 1.0 to 1.1, if any.

Thank you! I checked the Skidrow update and it didn't mention anything, so I had no way of realising THeTA would be different. I'll grab that and just use their EXE =)

Sabin why do you want that fix after all? I've got similar specs to your rig and I haven't seen any annoyances with my game.

I dislike black borders and 30fps simply isn't smooth enough.

But THETA crack has only fps fix command ,not for black borders. And doesnt work on SKIDROW...EXE only dosnt work, need other .dll file too.But with it,faces of all people became corrupted...Only way to remove black borders and use fix at same time is to use modified exe's and to stay with their game version. These fixes are hex edited values in exe but cant find anywhere tutorial what to be change.Maybe that guy fro guru3d would made new one?But i havent got registration there and dont know who is is exactly. If someone manage to contact him....it was 15 minutes work to edit exe's after all...

I just finished this. It ended being better than I expected. Great story and I liked the ending, typical of the Noir genre. But it also could have been a much better game. Several gameplay flaws that were very annoying at times, but also other very interesting stuff like the researching in the Hall of Records in one of the late missions.
I hope Rockstar(or Team Bondi, whoever has the rights) will take this game as a base for creating a much better and more complete gameplay experience in the future. Also I hope this face animation tech gets refined and used more frequently for upcoming games.
My rating is 8/10.

Seems theres hope for another game in the series. There's an interview with a Rockstar rep at the company's official site which, while mostly about Max Payne 3, also mentions LA Noire.
While theres not going to be anymore DLC, they mention they havent ruled out a new game in the L.A. Noire franchise in the future. Hope this translates into another game in a similar setting. Loved the whole Noir vibe, and while the game was linear and had flaws, it did try something new which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Is there any way to remove the 30fps cap / black bars on the latest version without resorting to using that memory hack (Artmod or whatever it was called)?

I stopped playing this after a few hours due to stuttering.
The question is, those 2-3 or 4 patches that were cracked, improve the performance in any way ?

All credit goes to jackfuste from rage3d board, he found all the right values!
I just "ported" this to the latest patch.
Since I have nearly no progrmming skills at all, no guarantee that this works correctly, especially the fov fix!
For DX11 with 60FPS you have to ALT-TAB out of the game once or it wont work, atleast I had to.
Patch LANoire.exe from 1.2.2610 SKIDROW update with ONE of the ppf files, always undo the patch first before using another one or use a unpatched .exe.
tested on Win7x64 at 1920x1200

That worked fucking swimmingly, thank you! No black borders at all in 16:10, and no longer stuck at 30fps (after alt-tabbing out and back in).
I just wish my jury rigged SLI profile worked a bit better, my 2x460's only manage to pull about 40 fps or so in the heavy scenes on max detail, but the second one is only getting about 25% utilization.
Ah well, beggars can't be choosers. Thanks man.

How is the facial animation at 60fps, Immunity? Is it still normal or is it super speed like some have said?

Just ran two interrogations - I got around 45-50ish FPS during them, and didn't notice any anomalies in the facial animations during them. They weren't super speed, they were just "smoother" than what I had been used to seeing for the past two days, as is to be expected.
Might be a different story at a steady 60 FPS, who knows? Until they put out a decent SLI profile I don't think I'll be able to hit it without turning some stuff off.

@Sabin: I can confirm that even at steady 60fps (\o/) there are no problems with facial animations (I haven't completed it yet, but so far everything is fine)

GTX570, though the game is quite CPU intensive ( my overclocked i2500k helped a lot)
