And it looks like it fixes the FPS drops when changing cells which was one of my biggest gripes with the game and forced me to use ENBseries to solve it. It took them awhile to kill this bug: :/

Let's hope the patch and CK are on time so modders can go to town with it.

Sadly I deleted the original screens, but I'll make some more in the future (without resizing them) Smile

It means that whenever you entered a new cell in the world the game would grind to a halt. It would literally stop for several seconds. At least that's how the game was when it came out. I don't know if it affected all systems, I think it was just systems with WinXP and C2D cpus that were affected.

edit: so yeah, that's an important fix for some people because it took the enjoyment out of exploring. Imagine having your game freeze every few seconds, or even during battle.

Code:
Update 1/30: A third beta update (1.4.21) is now available on Steam. The update features one new change:

Fixed bug related to hitching between cell boundaries.

We really appreciate the feedback from our Steam Beta. We anticipate the 1.4 update going live this week for all on the PC and being sent to the console manufacturers. The Creation Kit won’t be far behind.

It probably would be hard to create something using gamepads.

Argh sorry! Actually I'm using your mod (which is great btw Smile ) as well are some other ones that I didn't mention. The list is definitely old and should be updated Razz (I'll do it as soon as I come back home in the next days).

Or it would be hard to create something when Microsoft and Sony plainly say: NO! For some reasons the console manufacturers don't want such things to be created and released for their machines (well, toghether with modding). Maybe it's a bit more complicated to use and would collide with their vision of consoles as extremely easy to use, plug'n'play home-entertainment centers. Or maybe people would like to spend more time with single game and it's interfering with making money on every single game copy sold politics... Scratch Head Who knows. Confused

Yeah, do that man. A lot of people here (including me Wink) treat your list as some sort of visual-enhancing repository so an update is always appreciated. Smile

BTW, If you're on some kind of vaccation be sure to visit Poland. It's lovely -20°C outside. Laughing Troll Face

Skyrim HD - 2K Textures by NebuLa is out for a while now and I didn't even know it. Rolling Eyes Maybe because I took some break from playing Skyrim. Wink

But anyway HERE it is. Update v1.4 is mostly orientated on fixing Solitude's bluriness.

As usually there are 2 versions: Full (better quality / lower performance (or the same on 2GB VRAM cards Wink)) and Lite (optimised performance vs quality).

I wonder what will be overhauled in v1.5. Scratch Head

Wow i finally got around installing the acceleration layer. On my athlon II x4 (4x3.0GHz) with 6950 1gb it added 6-8 fps! (15-20% more!)

Also activated fxaa in the menu and it had no impact on the performance at all and much better than playing without any AA at all.

Are there more ways to get this game to look prettier without big performance hits?
Also it's a pity that the movement is so much gamepad oriented. You can't move fluidly through the environment Sad
