while i always laugh at these whiners, i have to agree here
i mean.. fat jokes? really, valve, really?
and mocking the adopted?
it's one thing to call the player stupid when he/she is, or comment on other things..
but to attack the player, who can potentially be quite young, over issues he or she has no control over..
ofcourse it's a joke and targeted at the game's character, but if it rings true to the player, it's still hurtful
it doesn't make me hate the character more - it makes me hate the game creators, as it broke the fourth wall
it's all the more weird knowing how fat their boss is.. i'm guessing he's adopted too
