For now it replace some of the vanilla hairs, once CK is out gonna make them standalone.

Are there any good gameplay mods/quests/items yet out there? Or is it all just visual tweakings that make the game look "betterish" whilst lagging things down?

Holy crap, that's a great mod! This game is in serious need of item diversity. Too bad it seems to CTD for me soon after loading a save after patching to 1.4. Sad

About to update Skyrim to lastest patch - nervous with all the issues mentioned about CTD with mods/skse. In a nut shell, do these steps sound about right??:

Before applying update:

Remove Skyboost (delete SkyBoost.asi, dinput8.dll, asiloader.log)
Update Skse to latest version (1.4.10) - my understanding I can just install overtop of old version)
Update any mods I have installed (I use NMM), then deselect them before applying 1.4 update.

Apply 1.4 update

Right order? Right process?

I updated to 1.4,removed Skyboost after incompatibility error,then updatetd SKSE to fix the CTD's and then finally checked for NMM updates and Skyrim runs fine here.

You DON'T need to complete it. Your progress will, however affect how smoothly a certain quest goes in the main questline.
