Even if it's not, fps will still get locked... you still need to keep your actual framerate above a certain threshold. If it goes low enough Fraps will lock your fps to the next lower level, which is 30 usually.
I am not sure how it will behave with recording fps of 60 and "lock framerate" on.

Battlefield 3 DLC announcement coming next week in New York
Quote: | Possibly the rumoured All American DLC.
New Battlefield 3 DLC will be announced in New York next week, EA has suggested during an overnight call with investors.
Responding to a question about DLC for titles including FIFA 12 and Battlefield 3, EA VP of Investor Relations Peter C. Ausnit said: "You're going to hear some announcements from us on Battlefield actually as early as next week in an event we've got in New York."
Ausnit didn't offer any further details.

Well they're usually packed with plenty of stuff compared to that shitty pack over at Activision with COD. I would have happily bought Back To Karkand, new weapons, assignments, the new maps though you can't rule all some lame skin pack as it was with the specact pack.
EDIT: also this

Love to see how the frostbite engine handles that

Teamspeak, Skype, Mumble, Ventrillo? Even the voice com worked proper, I wouldn't use it.

In before no air support on the New York map. I wonder if crashing planes/choppers against buildings on that one will result in a ban.

Hahah!
It would be amazing to have something like this in BF3: a "1 vs All" gamemode where one player is the giant who needs to fight hordes of little soldiers. Please Dice make it happen!

Looking forward to getting some sweet hats and custom, pink fatigues. I always found BF3 to be a bit lacking in the microtransactions department.
