The game will be a squad based shooter and the first gameplay trailer was released on April 28, 2011. You can issue commands to your squadmates either by using buttons or voice via headset.
A major part of the game is the Consequence System. Trust plays a part in story mode on how the squad views the player via the Consequence System, which shapes their opinion on their leader based on how the player performs and treats fellow team members in the game. This affects both the storyline and the gameplay, where the characters behave differently depending on trust levels. The player can also talk to the characters using a headset, with the game's AI being able to recognize six different languages, including English and Japanese. The director Toshihiro Nagoshi has stated that he intends to "create the human drama in the action moments, rather than showing them one after another in cut scenes.
Played this at Eurogamer last year and I was very much impressed! Its like the squad based element of Ghost Recon crossed with third person shooting of Gears of War and with robots. Works well! I for one am looking forward to playing it again!
I gotta say Im disappointed with the box art though. Geez the main character art looks retarded lol.
same goes to most multiplat games. But no. My friends fanboys are tempting to kill me if I say that Thay are always like "ps3 version is way better!"

the biggest joke is .... wait for it .. this game is made on the YAKUZA engine the same that powered Yakuza 1 2 3 4 and those two Yaukza [prequel in old japan for ps3 and zombie yakuza] spin-offs ... well its a game developed by Yakuza Studio duh .... SO you have a experienced sony game studio that created games excluivly for SONY PLATFORMS and a engine made and developed EXCLUSIVELY FOR PS2 and PS3 .... and it runs 10x better on xbox360 LULZ
So, Sega has done it again, it seems. They've had at least one fuckup like this with Bayonetta. Later, there were apologies and patches and it turned out, that the Ps3 version was a conversion made by an outside studio. It won't surprise me if the same happens again, in this case.
The main fault lies with Sony anyway. Not for making their console not powerfull enough, but for making it so fucking difficult to code for. If you have a) a talented studio making b) an exclusive title dedicated to one platform, you can do miracles with the PS3 (see Killzone 3, God of War 3, Uncharted 2&3 for reference) and with a perfectly smooth framerate too. Problem is, having both a) and b) doesn't happen very often.
