I've heard various things regarding the crack. I heard that it only crashed MP games. I also heard that it works period. So far it works with SP for me. Haven't tried MP yet.
btw.. I heard you can get on the regular servers but I suspect that will change soon when CD keys are validated. Meanwhile EA is possibly collecting IP's with 'bad' CD keys in order to ban them later.

Anyone knows if there are ports to forward or something?? I keep getting disconnected after 1-2 min of play

Your complaining about getting disconnected from a server using a illegal cd key on a game where they check cd keys ??

technically it would run on a radeon 8500 lol seeing as that card suports ps1.4 bet u could manage 1024x768 with some settings on medium seeing as the game isnt really that stressful.
with my almost top spec pc i was getting 100fps with v-sync on obviously would be more if i disabled v-sync but my monitor can only do 100hz and i hate tearing. |
I ended up gettnig a card that was a little more than twice the cost of the ATI i mentioned above - it is a Geforce 6600.
Before i take it out of the box - Is that an ok card?
Sory to ask all of these lame questiuons - but there are now hundreds of cards available and i have no idea which is the best value for money.

Then please, do explain why it seems like no one else is suffering from the same problem? Are they playing pre-released copies that EA sent them with Fedex overnight shipping and an included whore in the box?
Are those playing on cracked servers with 50+ kills ALSO having disconnects every 1 minute of playtime?
Dang, they sure score kills pretty fast.

6600 is a good card, itll run the game. I have the 6600GT OC, and it runs everything on high except lighting. |

This game isnt meant for singleplayer  Its like they're obligated to put it in there for all the people that need it. I'd be satisfied w/o it. Anyway, can't wait to pick this up.

Multi for keep dumps me to desktop after a few minutes. Havent tried playing single long enough. The first time I got no error message. Second time it gave me some kind of memory error I should of taken a screenshot but didn't. Oh well maybe next time. Playing on cracked servers of course.

people having problems with making accounts , you can use ur demo account and dont try to connect to a no cdkey server with any of the cdkeys in the nfo...you must generate a key from the keygen

Well I switched to the clone and played for a while with no problems. A lot of other people on the server I was on said the same thing. Crack gave them problems and clone works perfect. There were also those with the crack that didn't have problems. It would appear the crack doesn't work for everyone. Crackfix anyone?

This was posted by "Jenni" on the BF2 Demo thread. Heres how to unlock all the weapons. It's the same as the demo, just add a bunch of 1's. That was one of the first things I did before I even played the game lol, well that and removing the stupid intro's.
Unlock weapons
*works in single player and lan games, will work online *IF* the server hosting *AND* all the clients have the same hacked python file.
navigate to:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\python\bf2\stats
Open the file unlocks.py with notepad
find the line:
Code:
defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
change to:
Code:
defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]

run pbweb inside your pb directory to update manually, heard it fixes the disconnects and I have yet to encounter pb kicks myself
but then again I'm still suffering from other bugs so I don't know for sure

Same problems as uzudu. I was getting kicked from the server by PB after 5-10 mins, then i was able to play for almost 2 hours on the same server, now im getting kicked again. FUCK punk buster.
