Lol, I know. I'll FRAPS it tonight and post here.As for the patch, I didn't install it yet.I'll also try that tonight.I doubt it will fix it since I only found one more instance of it happening to someone else and his explanation didnt fix it for me... |
Well, of course, as it always happens.Applied patch, tried it again and the same bug, every time.The moment I fire up FRAPS ro record and post, the bug is gone, first time after probably 30 checkpoint reloads.
Conclusion: FRAPS fixes all your game bugs.

ffs im getting bsod/random reboot/crash to desktop after 5 minutes of playing. I even removed overclock from my 6870. Are the 12.2 drivers to blame or is it in the game?

finished the game on Normal without patch
SHORT and Easy game (thou sometimes you get cornered easily and cant breath/run)
Sad thing from the port: If you press ESC in a CINEMATIC then press ESC again you SKIP the cinematic...to prevent that,ESC then CLICK on "Return to game" or something (spanish version of mine) and it'll resume..

IIRC you don't need to complete main story to be able to play DLCs. Just go to Episodes In Main Menu and start them from there.

Took me 12 hours to do the main game, playing through the episodes now. EASILY worth the 30$ for the collector's edition. Remedy possibly releasing American Nightmare as well = SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

The game is pretty good looking. Reminds me a lot of Half-Life 2 with it's real life colors and textures. Nothing of that stupid brown filters that fuck up most games.

Damn, with -noblur and -rigidcamera this game is way more playable, and I had even finished it once on X360. Now for the mouse experience, yeah.

It's not the greatest game in the world, but it is a very good one. To me at least. I enjoy the graphics, the audio, the plot and yes; I even enjoy the gameplay. It's a good game and a good port, worthy of €20 of anyone's money. Could do with some optimisation though, but still...
