tbh I like the controls in Amped 3 better, they feel smoother. But overall I think SSX is better. Iv never tried the old SSX games so I wasn't really sure what to expect

Stoked was shit, as was sean whites snowboarding. imo, SSX is only rivaled by 1080 on the n64
a racing game masked as a snowboarding experience ... go compare Amped 1 to 2 and 3 , each game was different so different part 3 went shit ape crazy so nuts you can only compare this game to today's Saint Row 3 humor
and now compare SSX ... each is the same, slide from A to B and jump like a mother fucker on things to score ...
you can only compare this to the GTA Clone Syndrome ... each game after it had to be like it .... you steal cars do missions ... but when SAINT ROW came GTA shited its pants... how can you compare stealing a car by opening a door ... when you could jump in a car .. fuck doors be creative developers brake the square the original locked you
heck even Tony was more creative then SSX ...
but hey if you like a generic dumb sliding from A to B and jumping in the theme of some top20 hip music ... skip it
the only thing that could save SSX would be a over the top post-apocalyptic snow apocalypse story mode in a hub world with missions like in MIDWINTER...
well Im having a blast with it. made it almost half way through the story mode. kinda goofy story. the deadly descents are cool. each one has a theme (trees, ice, avalanche...) Definately not a offline game though. Most of the fun is going to be online competing in explore mode and global events.
Yeah, I started and completed career mode yesterday, so it's not exactly long, and that's with gold medal on all events except one.. But then there's the Explore events too, so it's not like the game is dead once you beat the World tour-thing.
