nice. i have been on a bit of a prog kick lately(as evidenced by my atheist post the other day). what do you think of the last few opeth albums? at first i was kind of sad that the old growly doom was gone ( for example), but the more i listen to heritage the more im glad they went this way ()...

I agree, I didn't appreciate the change of style at first, but after some minutes I realized that the good old Opeth was still there, only under a different musical form.
It was an experiment after all, a damn good one though, they'll probably return to doom in the next future...or maybe who knows, they'll surprise us again with something even more different
agreed at this point as long as they dont turn into a j-pop band i think ill be happy with whatever they do...shit, maybe if they went j-pop i would learn to love it
