Neon is right, the first one had excellent pace and it sure as hell didn't feel like one long corridor shooter. That's ME2's failing and looks to be ME3's as well, as far as I can tell. Still.. I bought and enjoyed both ME1-ME2, but I won't buy ME3 until I've played it and seen for myself how bad it is or isn't. The demo, previews and teaser trailers released so far have done nothing to convince me it's anything but an even more dumbed down ME2.
I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt I will be.

thats why me, in general, i dont ever except anything from any game coming (yes, there are exceptions, obviously).
In general, i prefer and wait and judge from actual playing myself, rather than guessing ^^.

ME2 had horrible pacing. It was like an endless series of side quests going from planet to planet recruiting squad members and the side quests for those sidequests and then bam main quest the end.

Which certainly explains why you thought ME1 was boring and why you ejaculate all over ME2. It's about the combatz, can't be done with all that text and exploration... it detracts from the time you could be pew-pew'ing. Thank you for confirming my suspicions.

i dunno, but i remember the end tier in ME1 to be way more suddenly than in me2.
I remember in ME, without any warning, you were locked in the ending (going to citadel at a point) while in ME2 you knew exactly that IF you travelled to (whatever it was again) would be the ending.
I dont remember any warning in ME1, that if at that moment i'd travel to the citadel, i would be locked in the end (correct if im wrong, my memory is bit clouded^^).

I'm wary about their culling of the script. In the demo itself, there were only two choices and it was either Paragon or Renegade. I wonder if Neutral choices is becoming a guest star in the dialogue choices?
In fact, BW actually reduced the script from 100,000 to just 33,000.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Too many times to count have I gone into a game and expected it to be fun, only to be bitterly disappointed - likewise going into a game and expecting it to be trash, only to end up being pleasantly surprised. To say "if you expect it to be shit then it will be" is laughable at best.
