So what, we can't expect a game to be coherent, because, well, it's just a game?

You can pull any game to pieces if you want to ,more fun just to play it.

Dude, the series is supposed to be a STORY DRIVEN series. You're saying we should just ignore the shitty STORY and play the STORY DRIVEN game without caring about the STORY. Do you have any idea how silly that sounds? Arrival made no sense, none whatsoever, and as much as it worked as a lead-in for ME3, the STORY was utterly fucking retarded... so no, we won't just shut our brains off and ignore the crap STORY in a game that is supposedly built on being STORY DRIVEN.

Yeah, it's strange if they say it's supposed to be a trilogy all the time and then they mess around with the stories of the games that overall it feels more disjointed than coherent. It fits into the durrent status of BioWare writers, be it Gaider, that clueless "I have a vagina and you don't"-chick or that douchebag who messed up the latest ME novel. Guess they should really check their ambitions but with the doctors in charge who want to sell at least 10M copies of every game...

Of course not , but , what i am saying is that if you want to pull a story to pieces then you will always find something you dont like or something that doesnt fit and use that as your anchor to continue your dislike or to find fault .

Personally by now if i thought a story was "that" shitty and gameplay had changed "that" much from the original i wouldnt be sat in the thread talking about it i would have moved on, nothing anybody says or does is going to change how part 2 turned out ( if you didnt like it) and nothing at all is going to change part 3.

So you loved Arrival, eh sabin? Cool Face

Like I said on the ME2 thread after finishing all the major DLC's, LotSB is the only one that you can save from the bunch, IMO.
Arrival is ultra idiotic and Overlord's premise is just about as idiotic IMO ( while the hover tank is fun to play with it's not enough to save it).

See, I loved Overlord - thought it was engaging and cleverly made. LotSB was likewise fantastic with tons of extra content as well as answering a lot of questions.. but Arrival? Arrival was just Gaider and his team of barely-trained chimps, with about as much writing talent as Stephanie Meyer, all standing you taking it in turns to ejaculate in your face. Nothing about it made sense, it was incoherent and it was downright insulting.

Basically a-typical of BioWere; action, pew pew, moar action, moar pew pew, shitty writing. What a waste.

I bet it's math game for them: yes, there are people, like you Sabin, who find the inconsistencies of the story, yet for everyone like you, there are hundreds more, who will find it just complex enough (their attention span doesn't allow anything more fancy). So naturally, this BioWare of new caters to those who are more in numbers.

Dat. Simple.

But true. The people who think ME2 sucks hard aren't going to buy ME3, so their opinion is disregarded. Basic economics.

How many fans of this new BioWare do you think have ever read any good sci-fi book with three dimensional characters in their lives? Thought so.

Well I guess we'll find out in a week. Perhaps Bioware will surprise us and we'll get a nicely balanced mix of the two ME games and that ends with a satisfactory resolution? Perhaps.

Actually Gaider is limited to only Dragon Age. ME is headed by Casey Hudson and Mac Walters.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Agreed. The demo didn't particularly impress me, but perhaps the full game will be as good ME2. Worst case scenario Shift-del Smile

799ru?!
Holy crap, even MW3 was on sale there for just 499ru...

Reaction

EDIT: Seems those 799ru are with an included 20% pre-order discount, down from the "normal" 999ru price.
Plus it also seems that newer games are more expensive than the prices I remember from last year.

Yeah, as I said it looks like the Russian distributors made a new deal with EA, because all EA's new titles are $22 or more. It used to be like $12 before. I guess EA didn't like that so many people tried to purchase Russian copies and not even language restriction they put for BF3 didn't stop them Smile

All ea games are 800ru which equals 26 dollars. Most cdkey sites sell it at 35. Still, I bought the digital deluxe for 1500ru = 45 dollars, at origin is 80.
