They say Doom 4 development shots. Might be a prequel or reboot or whatever made with the Rage engine. We'll know soon enough.  |

Rage was very good. maybe not what it was supposed to be and not "ID" revolutionary game but it was a good shooter with very nice (but static) graphics and great Ai and best ever god damn hit reactions and animations on enemies.
Still. Doom is doom. Rage selling shouldnt have effect on it

I disagree with everything you said. The game wasn't even near to good. I for one don't care what it was supposed to be or if it's a revolutionary game or not. The game has a very good art direction, but the graphics themselves are quite poor. The AI was absolutely idiotic. The enemies' reactions added exactly nothing to the game, exactly because of the "AI", so it doesn't matter if they were good or not. And Rage selling poorly does have an enormous effect on whether they make Doom 4 or not and if they do, when they make it.

I think those are supposed to be concept art but I agree with most people here that we can't expect anything good after the Rage fiasco.
