IMO the rest of the series are even better since they don't rely on the, er, torture porn bit that this one had but instead on the chemistry between the characters along with some (dare I say it) realistic profiling in order to catch the criminals.

I kind of liked the torture theme, really dark and gruesome stuff, that chair.. ouch! Someone on the IMDB forums said it's getting even darker in the later episodes? Any truth to that?

Razz

Well yeah, the last season is pretty dark and the end even more IMO, but nothing as gruesome as in the pilot.

Haha ok, yeah it did seem a little strange that it should get even darker than that, that would've been a bit too much, even for me Wink

Sigh... another favourite of mine, but be warned before you watch it; it was designed to lead into a main series, but SyFy didn't pick it back up and the miniseries closed with a major cliffhanger.

I thought it ended pretty well, but maybe I am forgetting something, care to refresh my memory.

Just a few examples;

 Spoiler:

IMO is a massively disappointing ending to an otherwise fabulous show.

True, I never looked at it like that and enjoyed the ride for what it was, but you make a fair point.

It's most likely just me though, I hate unanswered questions and I hate even more the open-ended interpretation "What do YOU think happened?" copout. Probably one of the reasons why I dislike Vanilla Sky, while everyone else seems to love it.

I missed out on the whole Breaking Bad phenomenon, but after watching 2+ seasons on Netflix in the last couple months I'm not sure I'm going to watch the rest.

not sure if this is a spoiler but I really don't like Bryan Cranston's character anymore... hoping this is intentional, but I do seem to actually like having a protagonist to root for in a tv show instead of a douchebag

Just watch it ffs

The second season is the weakest, the third and forth are fantastic, and the ending to the forth was some of the best TV I have seen in a long time, and arguably should have ended the show, as I cant see how they are going to top it.
