I prefer music with some real instruments like guitars and drums
but
Im a bit pessimist about what my kids will be listening after 10 years from now,
probably some crap like this...
I'm just sort of drinking and having fun before my trip and I could not read that name ... and I understand if that is your real picture in the avatar mr nhiuhmasteriks.

ok little background ... Modeselektor is a german techno/experimental band whose last album was done together with Tom Yorke from RadioHead and they also play together.
The guy rapping is from LA and his name is busdriver. The track is a total mash of production styles and awesome lyrics and it features an actual skit that seems to be working, if anything its hillarious. the whole song is just an awesome joke ...
lyrics like "I bet I could change my name to Klaus--or something mildly femmish like a Saudi chemist or an Orange County dentist!" - that is awesome!
anyway sorry for trying , and sorry to Nhiuhmmmerrrr I was not trying to be ofensive but funny and I hope that is not yuour real name ... cheers! Im going to bahamas in 3 hours and gonna party it up with my pretentious friends hehe
Seriously, how old are you people? What do you listen to for fun (party)
Well when I go to parties (quite rarely) I always try avoid the "music" there as much as possible, since it's the usual pop/dance/rap crap that burns my ears
At home it's 80% good ol' metal (death, black, heavy..anything) and 20% classic rock/indie/blues/jazz, depending on the mood
Your whole question was based on a fallacy in assuming that the only way to have fun while listening to music is "partying". I for example do not "party". If I want to enjoy music with my friends we go to a concert or simply get together, put something we all enjoy on the stereo and play cards or some RPG and talk. Or go to a pub that either has a jukebox or plays the kind of music we like.
I do not like the kind of noise they try to pass as music in clubs these days. They play it too loud to have a conversation anyways. I prefer blues, classic rock, reggae, a bit of jazz, maybe even some country if I'm in the mood for it.

Hope that qualifies as an answer.
Exactly!
For me, listening to music is an experience, similar to watching a movie, you wouldn't expect to be talking with friends and drinking while watching a very good movie, it's the same for me and music, I love music, but only in the confines of my own privacy, not when my kids are jumping around the house demanding attention, or when I'm socializing with friends and family, music for me is an introspective experience, that's why I never was a big fan of concerts or discos.
yea but when you really really wanna have a great night ... I guess im speaking to the wrong crowd here ... Metal to me is as bad as picking my eardrum with a razor but I am totally into more relaxing sounds and of course when I hang out with friends its different ... I was just in a really good mood and this track is something I am really into while having fun or maybe a bit more to drink ... party
Nhiumewyn - is your name the combination of all those tracks (ok mill stop now)
