Also, you shouldn't go to clubs in order to meet a girl if you want to have a decent relationship. I don't say it's impossible, but those are loud places where people get attracted to each other primarily based on their looks and gestures. If you fail at both of it, then stop looking for a girl in clubs. Practice your speech skill instead, there are plenty of girls who fall for eloquence rather for looks (and I'm not saying every man should look like a male model, I myself am far from pretty, but I managed to get myself several very nice looking girls in the past because I talked smart).
And some other tips:
1. Quit (or try quitting) lamenting, bitching or complaining over things in girls' company. Yes, present world and society are not as merry as they were 20 or 30 years ago. Yes, there are many super serious problems now. Yes, most of us have less money than we used to and we have to work harder to earn our salary. Yes, we (or most of us, if you exclude shallow bitches with two-digit IQ) are aware of that, but seeing and listening about those problems already takes too much of our time. We don't want to spend our socializing time listening about how shit is bad. We want to give some moments of peace and rest to our brains.
2. Learn to chit-chat about things. When you start a conversation with a girl, don't give her short and perfectly clear answers. You are not doing a school test. Instead, answer with answers so they can talk more. For some reason, they find that most interesting.
3. Don't leave the impression that you are a wimp. Don't be an agressive prick, but look like a solid man with dignity and your own opinion about things. And stick to those opinions even if that girl you're talking to doesn't like them. Instead, she will value your character and consider you a grown and reliable man (who can also give her a hard fuck when she wants one). If she doesn't, she's stupid and you should quit wasting your time with her anyway.
4. Avoid barely legal girls or fresh college students. Most of them are immature, shallow and good only for booty calls and quick sex (if you are in position to do that). And if you only need a quick sex, just go to youpornjizztube and jerk off.
And that's how you get yourself a young woman.

I'm about to give up on girls anyway. Are they worth the effort?
I mean, look at this:
- Most girls/women around here are either bitchy & bossy, overly chatty and friendly or insecure and have baggage. I don't want either of those - I want a girl who can just live on equal terms, who is smart but is reasonably confident. In the past 10 years I have met a total of ZERO girls like that.
- Most girls/women force the relationship to revolve around them - you have to like her friends, go to her hangouts and like her hobbies. The guy has to give up his friends, hobbies and hangouts. I had 4 close friends 10 years ago. I have none now. All because of their girlfriends. They all dropped their hobbies too: from building cars to gaming to motorcycles - they just go to work, come home and hang out with their girlfriend.
- Nearly all girls/women here are ignorant as fuck. They know shit about the world - they believe in those urban myths and have the most shallow and simplistic opinions. Needless to say they don't like guys like me who are a lot more informed than them. I tried not responding but was then told I didn't "contribute" enough to the relationship. And no way I'd pretend they have a point when they're talking utter nonsense.
- They have shitty hobbies and like crap things: they like shitty dance music, don't like rock music, have no real hobbies except "listening to music and going out", they have no skills except social ones, can't cook, have no interests in anything special and generally are very very tedious.
Seriously, fuck that. I'm happy being single - I can do what I want, go where I want, hang out with who I want. Flemish girls simply suck - I don't get along with them at all. The ONLY girl I met the past few years that shared some interests with me (she was pretty and geeky) already had a boyfriend - we got along great but the rest of the class of girls hated her for being "different".
So yeah, ugh, if I was that desperate for pussy, I'd probably move but it's just not worth it. Every relationship any friends or family members ever had, fell to pieces and often in a really bad way so, anyone want to tell me why I'd bother with them except for the sex & company? Company which I don't really crave.

What is going on with people!? Now im a married man, but one of my good friends just
had his girlfriend leave him after 8 years. And omg how the world has changed regarding
dating - You know that internet you are using? Well go on some of those dating sites!
Now I don´t know how it works in the rest of the world - but my god - he is actually sad now
because everyone he meets just wants to fuck him and not be his girlfriend (but says he should come again *wink* *wink*). And yes some of them are very high grade.
I can relate 100% to that "women have no hobbies" tho - I still don´t understand that one.
There are two kinds of people I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

If I could find a great girl to hang out with and sleep with without it getting too serious and her getting clingy and taking over my life, that would be my ideal situation. I looked at my friends in pity as their own personal life got swallowed by these black windows. Maybe they hate people having hobbies because it would explain why they demand they give them up in favour of being a couch potato together with her and watching some tedious TV series on TV every night instead. And during weekends, every Saturday, they all go shopping it seems 
Did I mention I hate shopping with women? They take ages, can never decide on anything, walk way too slowly and expect me to carry all their shit.
And if I even found ANY hint or ANY evidence that maybe there's single women/girls out there that aren't like this, I'd try a dating site but every time I browsed one, there wasn't a single one that didn't have something I really disliked - and I'm not THAT picky. Smoker = sorry, no. Trance/dance/Milk Inc fan? Forget it. No hobbies besides dancing & music? Bye bye. And yet finding a girl that has a decent IQ and doesn't do any of the above + has some hobbies seems almost impossible or they're all taken (gee, I wonder why).

Im the opposite, I like to really be serious with a woman. To get to know her, everything about her. Whats the point of having a relationship? And I dont like hopping between women like a frog, Im a one girl guy but fuck me maybe its the women in sweden whom I just dont understand.
And yes I dress nice, I take care of myself with exercise, and all that. Also I dont wanna be friends with them first, that to me is kinda losers aproach to dating women. Why should we guys have to change, why do we go to such lengths to attract women?
Like the book The Game where guys will change their personalities just to pick up women. I like who I am, I want to attract someone with whom I can be myself with and completely relaxed.
Maybe the fault is mine? Maybe women just dont find good guys that attractive?
I used to hate the so called bad boys, I used to beat them up in school because all girls would flock around their little emo sad faces. I could see right through em and I was so glad I wasnt like that myself.
Anyway got a date tomorrow with a nice girl, not the most good looking in the world but she seems nice. Met her on an internet dating site...

That is true, but I try not to blame them, it's society training them to be stupid shallow drones. There are still some of them who are not ignorant or actually have real interests. Yes, they are really a minority and are often in long serious relationships, but sometimes you can just get lucky and be in the right place at the right time. Also, if you get the exact same result with ALL the girls, its your approach, so you should definitely try another one. I mean, I met several girls who acted like stupid fucks at first, but under the surface they were perfectly fine persons, it just happened that they were scared of opening to strangers and they had some shitty experiences.
After all, if you still keep failing, don't act like it's end of the world. There are plenty of things to do in life, for example you can read books about transactional analysis (THIS and THIS) which will help you understand why people (including women) are doing all that stupid things. After that, you will simply be thankful you're not in company of ignorant girls with shitty hobbies and instead you are spending your time doing something you actually like.
And there will most probably be a world war in next 20 years or so in which most of us will die anyway, so all of our current "problems" are completely irrelevant.

What I like about dating sites is that you meet different people. I hate the club scene as mainly one type of women usually go out and those are mostly the shallow ones, not saying that there arent good women at clubs, I've met a few that way. Still nothing wrong with having as many options as possible...

I am not making a blanket statement about the impossibility of finding good people to connect with through clubs either or dating sites, I have never done a dating site. I would imagine they are a lot like social media sites and from I sit I see a lot of club like shallowness there. People try to portray what they want you too see. Look at me, look at how hot I am, look at me party, look at all the cool friends I have.. Then they try to tell you how 'nice' they are. Blah blah blah.
Keeping options open are a good thing

First off the EQ part, well, EQ, from what I read on it (much) is not really an intelligence type, rather just a set of skills - and THAT is the reason it can be worked upon.
Also, about beta's, well, sorry, I have seen the alphas (some even consider me that), but I rather be a beta any day. Most "alphas" are loud, obnoxious extroverts, who are just as shallow as the women they score - but the real question is, do you want to score or get a decent, smart, intelligent girl, who you can trust? I don't know whether these girls are attracted to the alpha types on the long term. Heck, I read many research, that says, yes, the girls like to bed bad boys, but when it comes to something more serious, then they want the reliable "beta nerd" types - you know, the types who sustain a family and raise kids instead of fucking cheap whores. And no, I'm not a virgin, I'm quite good with women, always have been, and I'm neither a looker nor a "modern alpha".

I read the exact inverse of this complaint coming from women numerous times. What is most probably happening is them as a couple simply becoming less outgoing. Which is in fact a concern, but it's not as one sided as you say, imho

Many people will tell you different with their infinite wisdom, and swear by things like peacocking and other shit like that, but I here have the truth, and this is the greatest truth of them all:
Dating is a numbers game - the best you can do to find someone you'd really like, is search your ass off. The more people you meet, the more you go out, the more events you go to, the more people you know - the higher the chance of you connecting with someone you'd like. It's trivial, it's that simple, yet it's the only thing, that is certain.
You can only fail that, which you don't try - so just put yourself out there, meet people, and it will come naturally. There's no trick, no magic, no pretend, just socializing. The best way to not get a girl is complaining, while home in front of your computer.
Also, the other neat thing, that this simple approach yields is, if you go to places often, that are connected to a hobby, the chances of meeting a girl, who shares your hobby rises. Like if you want to meet a girl, who's not only in to music and partying, then go to the theatre or lasertagging or any activity, and you will meet people there.
