Hugo - 10/10
Oh how I wished I had seen this at the cinema instead of waiting for Bluray. A magical viewing experience from the beautiful opening shot of the station to the end credits. Howard Shore's score was mesmerising and every frame of the film looked like it had been hand painted. Exceptional filmmaking, and my new favourite of 2011. I cried several times.
Tower Heist - 2/10
Pure shit, nearly fell asleep.

Wow...really outstanding...the music, the atmosphere, the story, just beautiful.

Machine gun Preacher 5/10. Ok story but the main character was pretty weak, in fact none of the characters were very good in this movie.
Girl with the dragon tattoo 7.5/10 pretty good, i would probably give the swedish version a 7 - 7.5 too..

Rated it the same before... loved it! I'm surprised almost nobody saw it yet.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - 8/10 I'm getting it 8 considering that I've read the book and watched the swedish one, so know the story pretty well, Fincher just did a really good job overall.
Spoiler: | I did not like that Harriet was in London instead of Australia. Like the premise of getting as far away from the family as possible, London just doesnt fit. |

I guess I didn't understand your comment. Why should her family, which she cut ties with, have anything to do with her job?

Hugo - 7.5/10 - unique movie, very well made. Too slow and a bit uninteresting in the middle one hour though. Chloe Moretz will be an excellent actress.

I found her to be horrible in Hugo, main reason I could not go on watching the movie.

the grey 6/10
where was this set? the place must have the warmest ice and snow ever.
was an ok movie, but the ending sucked. i know theres a clip after the credits, but still... i really dont think they knew how to end it...
an enjoyable enough survival film, but nothing really that special.
