Yeah, it's not a great article, since he assumes ME3's genre is (or will be) the same as 2, which was the same as 1. Not very critical/analytical of him, but then it's gaming media - very little of it is good journalism/analysis.

We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience you are facing with the game.
Per your request we have issued a refund against the order (removed) in the amount of removed . Please allow 5-7 business days for this refund to be processed to you card. This amount would reflect as a credit on your card’s next billing statement. For your reference, your refund request number is removed.
EA values its customers Please accept this 15% Origin discount (removed ) code for your next purchase on Origin store on any already released game except pre-orders and new releases.
The code can be redeemed at: http://store.origin.com.
So if you have made the mistake of preordering it, it's apparently possible to cancel your preorder.
Varies a bit, by law any order here can be cancelled and refunded within fourteen days - some EU agreement - (If it's not used or otherwise of course, Gamersgate for example will work unless you retrieved the serial key thus binding the game to your account that way.) plus the normal pre-order cancellation before the release date is reached or what is otherwise ordained by the publisher.
(Or what to call it, those EULA things for example aren't all that binding but there's a lot of terms and agreements in most of them for all sorts of situations, I've never really read one entirely though, heh.)
EDIT: That said they sometimes drag out the process and there might be some hoops to go trough, I've not had any problems with early SecuROM support for activation limits or EA account issues but I've read numerous reports from people having all sorts of problems with all manner of things so it's certainly not trouble free or anywhere near perfect either.
EDIT:

where i live, refunds are normal. Especially for products not yet received ^^
Yes exactly, as long as it's not "shipped" things are usually fine.

Just had time to try out the demo, whats with the animations? Running looks like shit, lip sync looks also so cheap. Effects are brushed with paint etc. Other than that it looks good. Also now i can say that this is Gears Of Effect
Found this guide how to skip release date check.And it works. Someone with legit game can try to activate if wants to
Spoiler:
1 – open MassEffect3.exe , this will launch Date Check.
2 – open task manager and search for MassEffect3_activation.exe
3 – hit “open file location”
4 – in the folder “mtka_tmp” there is a “lang_dfa.ini” anti-hacker file.
5- open it and change:
ONLINE_MODE=false
MANUAL_MODE=true
RC_MODE=false
6- make that file “read only”, save it
7- close date checker
8- run again MassEffect3.exe
9- enjoy your encrypted game…
Because it will ask you to save a "DFE" file which must be authenticated online via Securom's website and the same release date restriction applies there.
(Even says so in that guide "enjoy your encrypted game" so it won't work, I've tried this before with SecuROM online activation protected games.)
I though it will work only with key, but there is more yes. So its only release date check whining remove only then, but still needs to reach release date for activation.
Well, it is supposed to generate this ActivationRequest.dfa file which you should upload to that site JB posted and provide you with the .lic file to activate.
It doesn't even do it - I mean it doesn't generate the .dfa file.
I hope you get the chance to join the Reapers in ME3, you could destroy entire planets and solar systems with the awesome button - that would make a great renegade plot twist!

It does, but when you upload it there and click get .lic the site tells rls date is not met.

Um, well you are taking the Hong Kong copies that the kids there need to work on and make food to survive,
Using foreign VPN = dying children. smilie
