That too.

Originally, the online pass came with the game, if you preordered. Now that the game is out, things are different.

I don't even know if I should bother with the ISO demo at this point, ME2 left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth and I don't feel masochistic enough to repeat the same experience again Razz

If you didn't like ME2, you can definitely skip this one. After 3-4 hours I'd say it's almost the same experience. Except no hacking.

So you're given the same ship with same back and forth running, same weapons, same characters, same graphics, similar missions, same grand plot (prologue, get your crew, final battle) with only little new additions (weapon mods). Gonna play this through though.

Cheers for saving me time, I hated ME2, was playing this last night for about an hour and was hoping it could get better but apparently not.

Hacking is auto, you just wait for it to do itself.

Like waiting for your gun to shoot for you, for your mother to give you food while you play and mother to clean your arse after the loo.

Makes things easier and more streamlined for that action experience we are all looking for.

I'm a coloured dutch lesbian girl and I absolutely love this game, as a coloured lesbian girl I really think Bioware overdid themself with their exceptional writing by Hepler. Gaming is moving forwards towards a bigger audience and I really think us females are gonna be playing a big part in that. As a coloured lesbian I think it's great the time of witty stereotype blonde white male heroes have ended. Gaming is, ofcourse, a huge medium and it's great that developers support the idea of tolerance towards Gays, People of colour and Transgenders. As a coloured lesbian girl I give this game a 9/10, I hope it'll be an example for other developers.

the single-multy its explained like this:

Quote:
Indeed, you can only get 100% galactic readiness if you play multiplayer. However you are confusing galactic readiness, with war assets.

This is how it works. The game assumes, if you do not touch multiplayer, that you have a galactic readiness of 50%. Now galactic readiness is how prepared the galaxy is for facing the reapers. HOWEVER, galactic readiness by itself DOES NOTHING.

What galactic readiness ACTUALLY does gameplay wise, is determine how useful your war assets are once you obtain them.

What you actually need to beat the game are war assets. Galactic readiness only modifies how much war assets are worth. Still following me?

Here is an example. War assets are worth a certain amount of points. In this random example, lets say we save a human fleet. Lets say that human fleet is worth 1000 points. Well this is where galactic readiness comes in. The game starts with 50% war readiness, and it stays that way if you don't touch multiplayer.

So we take the asset, which is 1000 points, and multiply it by the war readiness. (50% which =0.5)

So 1000 x 0.5 = 500.

As such the war asset, since the galaxy is only 50% ready, cuts the worth of the asset in half. So the 1000 point.

YOU CAN BEAT THE GAME WITHOUT EVER TOUCHING MULTIPLAYER.

The only thing multiplayer does, is improve how many points war assets are earned. So lets say we play multiplayer and bump the readiness up to 75%...

1000 x .75 = 750

See?

It was boring so the obvious thing to do at BioWhore HQ in this kind of situtations is to remove the bad thing from the game completely, instead of fixing it. Hacking was also fine in the first ME, I don't get why they had to mess with that either. Also, is there nothing to explore for in this? The only things you can salvage seem to be the med kits. This is retarded...

Streamlined ship. Certain areas have been ripped out, you can't interact with the same things either. It's basically ME2.2, with the weapon mods of ME1 tacked on to make it seem "MOAR ARR PEA GEE!!" so as to stop everybody realising BioWhore are filthy lying cunts.

After 2 hours, I'm only willing to go as far as 6/10. Maybe. It's too much like ME2, only this time ME2 after a surgeon went in with a hacksaw and started lopping off bits of flesh.

I fail at locating the ship's upgrade terminal withing the Normandy. I only found stores for weapon and ammo upgrades, as well as ones for resetting abilities and buying additional special powers in the Med-Bay. And has planetary resource gathering been scratched off in this part of the series?

Yep, resources were removed. Too "complex" for the target audience. As for upgrading? That entire BAY was removed (hurr durr!) now you have to go see Glyph in Liarra's quarters (Miranda's old room)

Can't wait for someone to release a save game editor that allows you to modify your readiness level.

And the guards/scanner protecting the door to the war room/comms is really annoying. Kind of like the decontamination process in ME1. Annoying wastes of time.
