Where did I say I am? I said I might consider eventually. But probably not after seeing more and more.

The UI works pretty good.
At first you fight with it a bit, but as you get more familiar (and that´s fast) you probably wouldn´t change a thing.
I love the system...

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the price of the games, as Ashens touched on in his video. Why on earth are Vita games so expensive? Dungeon Hunter Alliance is £30 ($40!) whereas on the PS3, which is identical in every way, the game is £7.99/$10.. and the iOS version is £4.99/$7.00
Honestly, that simply doesn't make sense to me and is quite simply insulting :\

I second that, the PSN prices extraordinarily high and alot of retail stores have not much selection. Memory card of heft over the moon.

There really needs to be some kind of standardization of mem cards. Especially Sony rips off customers every time it introduces a new device. What a shitty way to make money.

So can someone explain this upcoming vita streaming thing? Apparently not yet available to the US, but some future update is supposed to let us utilize this feature?
Curious if it would let me stream my ps3 games, movies, music...etc to the vita.
Lets say the GF is watching the TV, and I want to play some SSX, I can just turn on the ps3 and stream the game it to my vita while sitting on the couch, leaving her TV shows uninterrupted?! Oh god please tell me that's the case!

No. Only bought a cheap iPhone 4 through work. That was the only device and iOS (4.2.1) that was worth the purchase for me.

Exactly like you said in the last paragraph. It's called Remote play and you can use it now, but it only supports a handful of games. Sony said they will be working on the compatibility but don't get your hopes up, this could take a lot of time... it's Sony afterall. BUT, if you have 3.55 CFW PS3, you can play a lot of PS3 games via remote play right now if you want to

this is the most interesting thing in buying a vita gonna wait till the price drops (and a better compatibility is implemented).

What card did you get and how much do games take to download/install? Sounds a little scary to have cards of 8GB/16GB and download games from online store no? The games have potential to grow to similar to current gen console game sizes.

Fuck it, a lot of my friends got the system, people here seem pleased with it, I ended up buying one.
Got the wifi version (no need for the 3g, I can just tether my phone to it). Also bought the 32GB mem card, figured I would want the space for future downloads. Pretty satisfied so far, system seems solid and pretty snappy and will probably only get better with future updates.
As for rayman origins, I don't actually own it, but the store says its only 932MB for both demo and full version, is this a mistake?

Nope, not a mistake. You unlock the demo to a full version when you buy it, so you don't need to download it again.

I'm just a little confused by this, the demo size is 932MB, someone stated the full game is over 3GB (the PSN store says 932MB for full game as well as the demo). So if I unlock the full game from the demo, I would be missing well over 2GB of data....
The only reason I ask, because if it is only 932MB then I don't mind buying the downloadable copy, but if its over 3GB id rather buy the physical copy...

Don't worry, you're not missing any data - the Vita version really is only 900 odd MB. It's the 360/PS3 versions that are 4GB+
